its very interesting to watch these videos of the early build and see everything coming together, and seeing the time put into it, now i have no idea what goes into this kinda work, but two things i must ask, 1) will the originally unobtainable mythic dawn or white imperial armor used by the guards of white gold tower be usable. 2) will unique weapons that also appear in skyrim use the oblivion model or skyrims model
amazing,too bad for the ai "You're not supposed to be in here" and attacking after 2 seconds. I hope that Skyblivion has the original ai or the closest to the original as possible "Guards!Guards! we've got a pickpocket here"
+King Derner Cousland AI will be fixed later, I imagined that it will be tweaked from Skyrim's AI. In this version I think the AI is just a placeholder.
well,Skyrim's ai was worse than Oblivion. At least they didn't go mad over a stolen basket and perfomed a life.Ex:sleep eat go to work chat. Skyrim's ai is sleep and go to place. Inn keepers don't even sleep,they stand there 24\24 all day and other npc have just stay in one place mechanic
Amazing job so far! Are you planning on implementing Better Cities and Unique Landscapes as well? I think the the atmosphere profits tremendously from these mods, but Oblivions game engine is just not made for so many objects so the performance is very bad. The skyrim engine is probably going to be good enough. Right now it looks vanilla though if im not mistaken. Would implementing these mods be too much work?
+Fluff It's definitely not vanilla, look at my Skyblivion armour videos for a list of mods, it's heavily modded. There is a dev tool that can be used to convert mods from Oblivion to Skyrim. I'm, not sure if those mods will be implemented by default, but I'm sure options will be avaliable.
Thanks for your reply, I did read into the forums a little and one of the Devs there wrote that he believes around 90% of Oblivions Mods should be compatible with Skyoblivion in theory, which would be great. I just cant imagine Cyrodiil without Unique Landscapes and Better Cities anymore. Now i just hope that a public release is coming in the next year or so, cant wait to play this :)

Make sure you get the room under the statue designed with proper loot for the pivotal part in the DB questline and I'll be happy.

Will this be like Enderal, that you like start out as a new character or are you the same character?
You have the option of using your original Skyrim character, or using a new character.
Are the guards going to have this armour on the video, or will they have the same armour in oblivion?

It's a direct port of 3D models and I'm also using a lot of graphic mods.
This mod is going to need mods.
the mod needs mods, and then we will be needing mods for the mods, and then we need more mods for the mods of the mods
That landscape textures replacer doesn't tile well at all, better to use something else.

I'm using a mixture of QTP3 & 2k texture packs from the nexus, I think they look good, except for tiling.
