That car is so much cooler than one would first expect. Looks totally wicked in black mate.
Yeah, black is easily the best and right colour for this car. All blends together really well and takes years off it.
Ahhh mqn. Nice one and what a car. Love the pics and really looking forward to that actual driving review!
Me too! Not done it yet. 😁
😁 Great ending. Made me laugh. No doubting your enthusiasm. I hope it all turns out well.
Me too! Will go out in it today.
LOVE IT. I rate this as high as your integrale Ade. Is it rarer even? I have certainly never seen one in the flesh AFAIK.
Nor me! The integrale drives a LOT better but still as cool.
Keeper. Will reach 100k, easy.
Should do, I know I will regret selling it at some point.
What are your short term plans for the car mate?
Full drive review out soon then will go up for sale so I can continue with my original plans to go in and out of my 25 fave cars.

Full drive review coming soon.
Nice work Ade.
Thanks Dan.
Blimey. I keep losing touch. What cars have you actually now got?
Ha. Need to sell one! This, integrale, Emira, GTC.
This car looks bloody amazing. Can't believe it is over 40 years of age - damn.
Yeah, every time I go up to it I cannot believe it either. Looks soooooo cool in the flesh.
Sounds reasonable to me Afe. To be fair, it had probably been sitting for ages. The next buyer will get a nice car indeed.
Yeah. The garage believed it is likely to have sat still for a while. They have asked me to drive it a LOT and report back on any issues as only time and miles will reveal anything else.
They have also suggested putting modern rubber on it as it will transform the car.
That is some bill. More than I paid for my car! LOL 👍
Yeah, scary really. I was prepared for it, which helped... a bit. 😁
Subbed. Superb stuff. Nice video. Well played.
Thanks. Much appreciated.
Hey, that is a cool family car. 😁 Beats my boring 3 series. hehe.
Ha. It can take two little kids in the back but my 6' 2" son had to sit traversely over both. 😁
Wow. I never even knew about this car. Great find.
I first saw one when I was about 12. It was parked outside a neighbour's home and I spotted it and stared at it. Has a lot of presence.
Since that I don't think I have ever seen another one! Super rare!
Black is the ONLY colour for this car. There are not many cars the Germans have made that actually look this cool. They really smashed it with this one.👀
Week said. I agree entirely.
That front is off the charts. I also love the riveted bulges and the Carrera print. Love to see this car around.
Yeah,. I agree. Really ads to the coolness and specialness of the car.
Brave dude. They say fortune favours the brave so I wish you all the best with this and love to know how it drives.
Ha. Fair comment. Enjoying it so far. Looks amazing. Full drive review out soon.
I wonder how "look at me" 911 owners feel about this car. I much prefer this. Well, up to a GT3 I guess.
Good point. They will likely look down on the car, even though these front-engined Porsches were meant to be their replacement!
That was some list. Fascinating stuff actually. Helps us understand just what it takes to take something cool like this car and make it suitable for driving properly.
Thanks!
Bit of a cliche but they really do NOT make cars like this anymore.
Agreed
Don't sell it. Sell the Lotus instead 😀
Well.. two of my cars have to be sold really as I cannot continue with my plan. My mind changes from one moment to the next, typically when I drive one. 😁
Got me really interested. I know this car was homologated for Le Mans but did it ever actually race?
This car certainly didn't. The Le Man racing as left to the R version of this car.
How did the turbo feel once fitted if you are happy to give the game away. How did it drive? 😎😊
Perfect!
All that work and no timing belt/WATERPUMP???? Trans/diff fluids???
They, skimped or you did..
Umm. Thanks, I will check that out. Typical service stuff so hopefully covered!
@@RevMonkey no charge for paint correction on your bill?
@@davidgerrard8661 IIRC I did that separately once the mechanical stuff had been done. They sorted out all cracks, lines and blemishes. Looks damn good now. Cost just over £1k.
