As a young Dutch violinist it's hard for me to find people to play with or learn tunes from, so this is extremely helpful! I've been listening and playing along to you on Spotify for quite some time, I can't believe I only just found out about this. Thanks a lot!

    Hello, Martin.
I don’t know if you see these comments, but I wanted to share how much I’ve been enjoying ‘Shared Notes’ and, thanks to the book, the recording you did with your father.
As a lifelong musician (active) and longtime writer (retired), I was impressed by the way in which you seemed to gain writing muscle as the book progressed - almost as if your personal and professional transformation was made manifest as you told your story.
As with sharing music from the heart, it doesn’t get much better than that in the art of storytelling.
Lastly, I sincerely appreciate your fiddle lessons. They’re a bit like getting to hang out with you.
    ✌️❤️🎵

Hi Martin, great lesson, really helpfu! I was wondering if you could do any lessons on The Mountain Lark or Tom Doherteys Reel which you played on NPR tiny desk concert? You and Dennis played them so well!
