waited for years for this scooter to launch, finally it is here. My father always wanted a proper maxiscooter like Aerox/NMax. He is now terminally ill and not riding now 😔😔, but I will gift him this scooter and fulfill it.

That’s because these local dealers give out customer vehicles to these so called Automotive Journalists, without the customer’s consent. The vehicle used in this video is mine and it was used in this video without my consent. I’ve already taken this matter to the dealership and Yamaha motor’s notice but no one responded. And Dino BHAI deleted my comment and blocked me on Instagram for expressing the same. I’ve been following him since he was in his budding stages and always admired him. I’ve never thought that he’d do something like this to me.

Yes, in Malaysia also. I have seen a clip, they tunes to 17.9 bhp with 160 kms top end cut-off. Plus a huge range of accessories from USD front end to monoshock rear end. So there's a HUGE potential with endless possibilities Yamaha hidden inside this scoot.

Took the Delivery from the same showroom today. The very 1st delivery in Telangana State. Upgraded from my Aprilia SR 160.

@@anonymous-dx3uu currently there are no accessories available. The showroom guys were saying it would take about a month. I really doubt that one could fit a Side Ladies foot rest. Coming to Pillion Comfort it's pretty decent.

And about this and all scooters , i wanted olny one thing to be changed, that the front telescopes it should be in full length not the short one, it will automatically changes the entire scooter range to more convinient to ride in indian roads.

@@georgecarlinn6288 not the worry buddy, it is the problem with the ride quality, you will feel every bums n pot holes and also lot of wavy ness in the front, it tends to fall easily rather than stable at the front in slippery conditions, you will know when you ride! Scooootersss

Thanks for the review Dino bhai. I think your test ride scooter didn't have the gas chargered rear suspension as it was mentioned it is accessories. Do review it once it is available as most of the owners might want to check before getting them.
Talking about the maxi scooter in India there are only two choices one from aprilia sxr 160 and areox155. Make a comparison in every aspect them....
When SXR 160 was launched invariably everyone compared it to the Suzuki Burgman...... Would like to see if reviewers compare this Yamaha Aerox 155 with Burgman.

Was planning to buy but changed my mind after I heard the word rear drum brakes.
Yamaha Aerox 155 is a worth it, a modern scooter with good specifications.
I am definite on buying this.

Looks great and good review! But the power doesn’t seem to be too much as hyped. Believe the handling and refinement is good as well.
Power seems to be fine for this segment considering the weight of the scooter. Fuel capacity could have been better though. If you check the international variant there isn't much difference.
The main culprit is the cvt transmission as we can see the rubber band effect resulting in low top end as compared to the r15 which has the same engine
@@BalrajSamant the initial pickup is not much higher from aprilia sr 160- the one who rode both back to back mentioned this, power diff is felt in the top end and Aerox can maintain triple digit speed for longer time and handles much better on high speeds

Nowhere close to R15 performance, this tuned for scooterish feel but as a maxi scooter and sports scooter, it's good, not extraordinary though
