BIAP looks much different when I was there in 2010. It almost looks normal compared then in the past. Iraq is making progress and Iraqi Air is actually flying a Max 8.
Man this is such a well made video, as IQA bring newer aircraft into service, its great to finally see some inflight reviews come out! Can't believe you only have 22 subs, i've added to that now though :)
I flew on the YI-ASN on September 1 2023 it was 6 months old now it’s about to be 2 years old they received it on March 2023 really miss that plane hope I see ASN again 🥹
You have a really nice voice. It's also nice that service is improving for Iraqi airways. Maybe in the future our iraqi diaspora from further around the world can use the airline to visit iraq without having to transit.
Not surprised by the meal during a 90 min hop. in pakistan PIA served and still does (been quite some time i flew) meal on trays plus cutlery, drinks, tea and coffee from karachi to lahore covering the same duration. meal on flight from lahore to islamabad: approx 45 min.
Iraqi Airways has been experiencing instability with its management and operations, so it's not surprising to see some issues with the aircraft's cleanliness or maintenance.
I think the single entry visa on arrival was 80 USD. That could probably change. The important thing is to arrive with change in USD so that you can give them the exact amount.
Thank you so much for this video!! From an Iraqi.
You are so welcome!
Thanks mate for this exotic airline post. I love these kinds of airlines. Subscribed. Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺
Glad you found it interesting!

Yes , Iraq is now more developed.
Things are improving. Hopefully the situation in the region can calm down a bit.
Nice and helpful video

0:45 "things are a little rocky in these parts of the world these day". 😂😂 no kidding. I do believe we might have played a teeny tiny part in that.

Welcome to Iraq all the time.
excellent video
My first flight on IA was back in 2006, the take off was spiral to avoid rockets
I don’t think any airlines are using the spiral maneuver these days. Sounds like a wild experience.
Your voice is very soothing

Nice vlog! Come to India sometime

Appreciate the insights!
How much is the Iraqi visa for American passport?

Sad to see this new Jet already FILTHY! Labor in Iraq is almost free! So what the HELL!
That was definitely my one bit of "free market research." Otherwise, it was a good experience.
