Juvenile stage of Taenia sp. in a dog

Juvenile stage of Taenia sp. were recovered from the liver parenchyma of a dog that had a history of systemic lupus erythematosus and IMHA for the last 3-4 years.
A rostellum and 4 suckers were observed which looked like Taenia spp. A total of 44 hooks were counted, and approximate sizes were 237 um for the larger hook and 175 um for the smaller hook.
