I feel like there is so much material out there that deals with the technical that it can be overwhelming to someone who just wants to keep things simple and create something that they find joy in. I never thought of melody creation first. As a guitarist I either did chords first or sometimes lyrics (but no melody first). This would have been thirty years ago for a period of about ten years before putting any thought of rockstardom on the back-burner. I got back to it a couple of years ago, but it's either re-recording those original songs or writing production music (instrumentals) for the likes of Pond5. Scaler2 has similar "performance" capabilities to this, which is handy for me not being able to play keys. LOL.
Very interesting to see your creative workflow. To me that‘s much more interesting than those polished marketing shitshows, that have become a sad standard in the plugin-YT-hypetrain by professional synthfluencers and alike. Thanks for that! Keep up the good work!

Wow! I had never of thought of working with EZKeys by starting with the vocal. I think previously my EZKeys workflow constrained my melodic opportunities. The chords dictated the melody, rather than the reverse. Kinda eye opening for me.

What’s great about Ez Keys is that every key signature is right there for you so even if you’re not sure what key your melody is in, you can simply play around with chords until you find something that sounds good.
