After making this pattern in a lovely gradient from grey to aubergine and offering it as a Christmas gift, I'm now making it again 😁 for myself this time, in a light cotton gradient from navy to sky blue (the type of thread made up of 4 fine almost sowing threads that gradually switch color and offer a smooth gradient), it's such an instant gratification project since the lacey pattern comes together quite quickly and I can listen to an audiobook in the background ☺️ thank you for such an easy yet elegant pattern !
Sending sunny hugs from Paris and good vibes for a lovely week ahead ! 💕

I purchased your written pattern on Etsy and I am making this shawl pattern with some very bright colorful yarn 🧶 for my 7 year old granddaughter she was at my house a few months ago and like playing dress up with some of my creations and she particularly like a shawl I made, that one is too delicate for a 7 year old so I’m making one with this pattern just for her with sport weight acrylic yarn so that it’s washable.

Olga Poltava it was a Lion brand cake yarn from Herrschner’s that were mill ends that they sold at a discount. Since it is for my granddaughter to just play dress up with I didn’t use a yarn that was expensive. I am making another that is purple for one of my daughters that will be full size and will post a photo when I’m done.

Yes Georgina, you are absolutely correct, and that is intentional. As you can see I made the title "How to crochet a lacy triangle stitch for a shawl, and not "How to crochet a shawl". In the written pattern I included every single step, but in the video I only show the basic stitch. I make a living from my crochet work (I especially relay on it now as I lost my job outside of home due to shelter-in-place order), and I depend on people purchasing my patterns. These are difficult times for all of us, and not everyone can afford to purchase a pattern, I totally understand that. But on the other hand, just like everybody else, I need to pay bills, buy food and essentials, etc, and I am very grateful to the people who support me by purchasing my patterns. In rows 4, 7 and 10 on the pattern you state to do a (dc ch2 dc) all in the 3rd chain of the next ch6.... but in the tutorial you’re doing (dc ch3 dc).
