Glad to know there are other plant-aholics out there doing work to make the world wilder and a better place for wildlife! Keep up the good work and make sure you “listen” to the plants request?
That is awesome Jeff! I went to the nursery this afternoon and bought a lot of plants, but only filled up one cart. You have me beat hands down. Love the tie died tee and the "hair" - it's a good look for you!
Keith - glad you enjoyed my sense of humor in this video. Not having hair and then having some, about drove me crazy - on my face in my mouth..... Anyone planting is making a difference. Thank you for caring about nature and taking actions to preserve and restore the space around you. Take care!
Tom - Always good to hear what you think. I am trying really hard to stretch myself technically and the story content. I love the process I just wish it didn't take so long to put together from start to finish.
Jay - Glad you enjoyed. This video although one of my shortest took the longest to come up with the content, film and edit. I am really pleased with the way it turned out as its better than I envisioned. Take care and stay wild!
Debra - Great to hear from you! Glad you found the video funny! Hope you are seeing great birds this spring. With the first part of the Spring migration being slow and other life commitments I have only been able to get to the coast 4 days this spring. Hoping to add a few more days before the birds have moved on to the northern parts of the continent for the summer. Hope to see you out in the field again soon. Take care!
@@Jeffswildlifeadventures Jeff, hope you are able to get to the coast again! In February, we went to Costa Rica for 2 weeks and it was wonderful. We found an excellent guide, visited some great locations and saw lots of beautiful birds. We haven't done much birding since then, but in May we plan to go to Magee Marsh in northwest OH. It is one of the best spring warbler locations in US. Hope you get in some more good birding before spring ends and will be looking forward to the next video!!! Debra & Alan
Fantastic video! My score is 8 out of 10, not bad right?! I’m on my way home to the Netherlands, after a week in Paris and I can’t wait to see my family, and my garden 😂
Wouter - Safe travels! I don’t know if it’s normal but I miss my garden when I am traveling. 8 out of 10 represents a very strong Plant-aholic. Wear the title with pride!!!! Take care!
😂 hilarious. I'm going to check out lonestar native plants. There's a local small business I learned about called Lindsay's Native Plants here in Montgomery County. They are having an open house Saturday. My name is Chelsea and I'm a plant-aholic...
Chelsea - I have been to Lindsay's open house and depending on your location they will deliver when you order on line - which I have also done and it was wonderful! Lone Star native plants is only open in the spring and fall and there is no phone number so check the website before you go to make sure it is open. You will be amazed at the plants they have. Don't feel bad, I am a plant-aholic and proud of it and definitely don't want to be cured. Thanks for watching and leaving a groovy comment!
@@Jeffswildlifeadventures Thanks for the response! Yes, I'm checking out the website. I'm excited to continue re-wilding this weekend. I already have a house finch nesting in the planter next to our front door.
Diana - I know you to well. I suspect your score is 110!!!! Thanks for being a loyal supporter of all my crazy ideas and activities! Stay wild and groovy!
Oh, I got it bad, man. And I am happy to report that I am well on my way to infecting my older daughter who is about to buy her first home and has promised to devote part of her property to restoration. It's particularly important in her case, because she lives in San Antonio, Blackland Prairie country. Due to aggressive farming and development, there is only 1% of the Blackland Prairie left. I am proud that she will be helping, in however small a measure, to return some of the injured land to its natural state. So, I've alienated my gardening group, but my kids know what's up.
I am happy to hear you are spreading he love of Native Plants and rewilding. The more I think about it maybe we are the sane ones and all the people with yards spending large quantities of time and money on with no benefit are the one's with an issue (?) Thanks for watching and leaving your entertaining comment!!!! Take care.
Glad to see other Plant-aholics so self aware and comfortable with who they are!!! Thank you for caring about the plants of the world and having a positive impact on making the world a wilder place! Take care!
Once you plant one native plant or rewild one foot of yard you become a plant-aholic. I see additional plants in your future!!!! Welcome to the club that there is no cure. Take care!
It's hard to be a plant-aholic when others around you aren't but as the family of rewilding native plant loving people grows we all will feel better. Thanks for caring and taking the time to watch the video!!!! Take care!
Love it! Hopping to see more of the wig in the future! you are for sure a plant-aholic
I may have to come up with other content which is based on "-aholic" and if I do, Stevie will show up again.
Score: 110. Wow I had no idea you were gonna call me out like this. LMAO!!! 🤣
