am a huge and die-hard fan of Efren Reyes! I've seen all his games, and each one is a masterclass in skill and strategy. Efren is not just an amazing player but also a humble and cool person. His simplicity, combined with his incredible talent, makes him a true legend in the world of billiards. Watching him play is a thrill every single time-he turns every shot into a work of art! I admire his dedication, his calm under pressure, and his genius at the table. As a devoted fan, I’m always inspired by his unmatched skills and sportsmanship.
If you like Efren you should watch the real masters who put on SUPER masterclasses, like the legendary Lord Raymond Cuelemans or Blomdahl. Hell, you can watch Earl Strickland or SVB as they have 5 US Opens each and are way above Efren's abilities
but he loses at life as he happily supports animal cruelty by forcing chickens to fight to the death in his hometown in the Philippines. And life and how we leave earth is more important than pool
not quite, if he was the best he would have had 5 us opens like earl stickland or SVB. he's ok but def not the best... he just learned 3 cushion and brought that to pool same as Harold Worse who was actually the best yt person to ever shoot pool (the best in the entire world is a black man, but racism meant blacks couldn't ever compete ... the first to compete Cisero Murphy was the first human to win a tournament in his first attempt.. blacks are always the beset at everything as we look at every other sport for instance). The best 3cushion is Raymond Cuelemans, as efren isn't known at all.Harold worst who Ronnie Allen and anyone would tell you is 100x better than Efren would walk in throw $5,000 or more on a table and challenge anyone to play without shooting a single ball and win.. efren not that good lol. look at the johnston city tournaments charts, you'll see the year harold won everything but 1 thing (he won like all around, one pocket, 9ball etc) then he also won the world title and others in the same year he died. he knew he was going to die but still won.. talk about pressure. if efren knew he would die he wouldn't shoot anymore lol.
Guys, kabayans, if you still remember your Philippine history, you should recognize the name of our great national hero, Jose Rizal, from his pictures, Effren, at this age, shows a remarkable resemblance to him at about the same age. You also remember the many accomplihments he accumulated during his brief life as a student in Europe becoming a multilinguist besides the major European languages, studied medicine, majorly an opthalmologist to cure his mother of increading blindness, a botanist, a biologist, a poet, a novelist, a respectable sword fencer(the aristocratic sport at the time) and as a young had several sexual escapades with high society European girls who were most probably drawn to him by his intellect and facility in their own native language. Our hero was probably motivated to show our Spanish occupiers what a mere "Indio" can accomplish in his, alas, very brief life at 33, same age our Lord Jesus when he too was executed.
I 💖 how Efre knows he can beat Niels, anytime, anywhere! I like how Efren touched the lag ball and gave Niels the first brake! 😇 Then he misses an easy shot, and Efren missed on purpose, giving Niels the run back to him! 😇 (who ever is deleting some of my comments, SUCK!!!)
Yeah Earl was a 9 ball specialist no doubt about it.... and when ON, he was a true sharp shooter. What's funny is Reyes and Earl are considered by many... the 2 Greatest players to have ever picked up a cue, yet their games are SOOOO different. Earl relied heavily on his incredible sharp shooting, while Efren who also was an incredible shooter had so many weapons in his arsenal, such as cue ball control, caroms and billiard shots. I too would say Earl may have a slight edge on Reyes in 9 Ball, but that's where any comparison ends. Efren was a true master of ALL Billiard games and was World Champion in all of them. So I'd give Reyes the GOAT title IMO.
@@willstuart4504 I guess he'd be close in straight pool, but clearly Reyes was the best overall player. No one is close to Reyes with everything considered. Watching him play one pocket is unreal.

How can you NOT love Efren Reyes? He's just a teddy bear of a guy, and a total *beast* when he's at the table.
I don't love that efren happily supports animal torture by forcing chickens to fight to the death in the Philippines. He's a monster in real life.
Efren is very humble player that"s why he is always winning the game...go go go efren you are the best you beat all the champions...Godbless

I have always said Strickland was the better 9 ball player, but that's as good as you can play the game right there.
