I played this game at possibly the lowest point in my life. When i got to this level and heard the song play, i smiled then cried because it was weeks before i smiled. Kirby has been a huge part of my life and this song was the beginning of feeling hopeful again.
@Jelly Jam Baseball bats are just... better. As A Hat In Time puts it: "Baseball bat - Perfect for property damage, intimidation, and sometimes baseballs!" And in my humble opinion, they're good for cracking the soft skulls of any and all Kirby enemies, too.
Star Allies was one of the first games I got on my Switch. And about a year or so after I got the game, I let my friend borrow it. …he lost it. Luckily I 100% it before I gave it to him, but I still never got it back… until I rebought it yesterday! (August 18th 2023) I can’t wait to replay this game. It’s nostalgic and I only last played it four years ago.
2:50 I've spent a lot of time just listening to Hyness' songs so I know those songs quite well, and now I wanted to listen to this song and... I heard Hyness' song here - "The Dark Altar" song. Hearing this on my own without expecting that is a huge mindfuck. Man this game is awesome.
Such happy, upbeat and cheerful music, for a game that featured a galactic death cult that worships the corrupted god of destructions, runned by a mentally bankrupted and rage and hatred filled squidward faced alien wizard who have no problem sacrifice his henchwomen, the three mage sisters, and himself to their god of destructions. It’s not really a bad thing, but that’s quite funny, interesting and ironic, and I want to point that out.
