Still the best Star Ship Enterprise design, because when the first movie came out the age of NASA's space shuttles was just beginning and this ship represented a plausible, sophisticated future, Star Trek for adults. The way Jackson's LOTR films brought Tolkien to life in a gritty, believable way.
🖖😎👍Very truly totally fabulously cool looking Die-cast model of the Ship indeed, And very nicely greatly well informatively explained and executed in every detail way shape and format provided on the 1:350th Scale TMP Enterprise from Tomy, A job very nicely wonderfully well done indeed Sir!👌.
I found out about this very late in the campaign but managed to square an order away for myself. If I had found out about this too late, I'd have been devastated. Very excited to unbox her next year.
So can’t wait! Got my preorder day one! The prototype just makes me smile! Thanks for the interview! Always like seeing Chris talk about Trek ships! I so hope they do Star Wars ships! I would like all the OT ships! X wing, Falcon! First please!
At about 11 minutes in when Chris said they have other licenses I have a feeling he’s talking about a license for something like The Undiscovered Country where we can get an Enterprise-A option this campaign 🤩
I would love for them to start doing Battlestar Galactica ships. Just think of that model at 350 scale with all the bays and lights lit up, it would be a thing to behold.
Yea, and it's not like there is a lot to do from classic Galactica anyway. Just the Galactica herself, the Cylon base star, and maybe the Colonial viper and Cylon raider.
I want Tomy to re-do the TOS without the saucer separation. I didn't get it for that reason and I'm glad I didn't because it ended up a bit of a mess. And, the next ship after they re-do the TOS should be The Reliant in scale with the refit. And, if they're going after other licenses, I'd love a 36" original Battlestar Galactica.
I received an email from Tomy where they asked which Start Trek ship the fans want them to make next. The three choices are the TOS Klingon D7, Next Generation Enterprise D, and the USS Reliant.
D7 is a waste of a slot. (It should be the K'tinga). Enterprise D has been done to death, so the only logical choice here is the Reliant to go with the refit Enterprise.
@@TheRyan4778 Could be, they're going to see whichever one has the most support and go with it so it'll be the peoples choice type of thing. I suspect the most fans will respond with the next gen Enterprise, just a hunch. The good part is as long as they keep selling well and they can raise the funds from the fans, they'll be making them for a good bit so sooner or later you'll probably get your wish. I've got the TOS and the Refit coming, but that may be it for me, they're HUGE! If I did get a third it would have to be the Ent D or something from the original series, mostly old school. Imagine six or seven of these monsters, they'd need their own room. Champaign problems.
@@robertkees6048 I also suspect that it will be the D, as that is usually a safe bet for most companies, although I would prefer the Reliant out of these three. I just feel like the TOS movie era of ships have often been ignored, while the bulk of the attention always went to TNG and TOS (series). That said, I want them all, lol. (I'd love an Enterprise-C as well).
Surface texture, shading, paint and lights are NAILED and beautiful! BUT,...how about the massive nacelle "sage" that's going on. Connie' needs to be straight and level no matter what iteration. Primary level w/secondary and nacelles level with primary.

7:57 He mentioned the possibility of doing a combo pack. A K'Tinga and Bird of Prey in 350 scale sold together would be amazing.

I have one ordered! This looks great!
Awesome video well done ❤
Counter weight in the rear would move the center of gravity back.
A D7 would be fantastic (I think I mentioned this elsewhere but it bears repeating).

TOS D7. Will go great with the TOS ENT. The D can wait people..
Some sort of clear poles would be better than the current black poles would be my preference. Regardless great work & look.
Like the ones the NX-01 had.

Thank you Chris. I always enjoy, and look forward to these informative videos.
This is my favorite Enterprise design by far and I ordered two.
Very cool :) the TOMY Refit Enterprise looks amazing :)

Stunning design that still looks great 40 plus years on.Prefer the bronze glow in the deflector dish.
You made a great start ship now make a nebula class starship please?
We need a K'tinga Klingon battle cruiser from TMP to go with our TMP Enterprise! Not a D7!
Any updates on the beautiful model?
He mentions an accessory pack. It would be awesome if they included one for the Refit.😀
It looks perfect OTHER than the chopsticks holding up the saucer. They HAVE To fix that.
Reliant and Bird of Prey for sure. Enterprise D for sure. D7 and/or Katanga class. Maybe a Defiant and a Borg Cube.
K'tinga is a better and more logical choice over the D7.
I'm fine with the supports but make them clear plastic

For the mighty algorithm gods 🍻
Your sacrifice is welcomed and acknowledged!
God I hope they ship this thing before Tariffs kick in, i cant afford to pay a second 750 bucks because somone doesn't understand how tariffs work....

I know I'm in the minority but I wish they'd skip the D for now and make the E or the G.
