@@megachef0421 Yeah but the difference is centerfire ammo can reach out to 800 yards plus. Airsoft you are lucky if it even reaches 80 yards. Well, if this was actual combat you'd stay well over 2-3 hundred meters away, and stay low to the ground. Being that far away means that hitting you would be hard. I always say, in arisoft, due to limited range and accuracy, 10 meters is 100, 25 is 300, 50 is 600, and 100 is 1000. A real m4 has an operational range of roughly 600m. Normal AEGs will be extremely innacurate at 50-60m so there's your equivalency. 10m is easy enough to target, and in real life 100 is too. 100m is barely reachable unless you got specialist weapons such as DMR/precision rifles, so too in the real world 800-1000m is only feasible with precission rifles.
@@ravenwing199 What cover? Also you can call blankfire hits. At the bare minimum you are required to react, take cover, prone out, displace... Not stand there shooting back.

What hits specifically? A HMMWV got hit in the front with a Taginn that no one heard. Later the driver inspected the truck and it was found. The driver sat out for 2 hours. That was at the dried creek bed. In the open during the skirmish in the video a HMMWV got nicked on the deck extension. Which was called and both trucks were considered dead regardless if it was hit or not. During the night the gun truck got yelled at for not taking a hit and upon inspection it was found the truck was not hit but taginn rounds were found around it. Both continued to sit. It was too unsafe to move and called themselves out of play. They didn't initiate emergency flashers because they didn't ruin everyone's night vision on both sides. The engines were turned off and the crews stayed with their trucks. That started an issue with one of the truck's backup cameras not being able to be shut off at that time. Other than that the HMMWVs were hit over and over again returning to base with hazards on as they were told to do after a skirmish when they were out. No one was paying attention to the Hazards. Or the Russians or Militia didn't know that Hazards were how a truck identified it was out. Also the enemy forces technicals were hit multiple times and didn't notice or had to be stopped to identify those hits. Hopefully the TACSOP will be updated so everyone is on the same page next year. Fun fact as well both HMMWVs had constant radio ability for safety reasons. This was also so that if a truck was hit that truck was on frequency and could be told to stop by Cadre.
