Funny enough, it's in my suggestions again haha. I remember watching that the first time actually through their channel and it made me extremely interested in the game. I watched everything I could on it. I think it might be the the best horror game ever, because it definitely stays with you.

@@honeynutbea Nope not a sample, I used different material then the caretaker, but definitly a reference! Well spoted. When we made the game I brought up the idea of spooky, distorted, corrputed music and then Adam (the dev) showed me the caretake stuff.

Can we talk about how Arin tried to trick Danny into playing this, but Danny managed to end up manipulating Arin into him playing the game?

That's because they stopped playing after re-joining a server, so the game just couldn't deliver anything new. It's like how in DOOM everything stops being scary when you stop playing.
Most of the rest of the game required you do some digging outside of just playing the game itself. If people didn't already figure it out it would have been quite the trek. Figuring out the games secrets would have required you to, from what I understand, have deciphered a Braille code, a Morse code from a hotline, or have read a physical note located in a woods in Belgium that not many had access to (the note is already gone). Then you would have had to do some data mining in the game files. All of this to be able to access a few new sequences to the game itself. It honestly didn't add much in terms of gameplay but if you consider the entire experience that is basically one big ARG then it added many layers with subtle stories and concepts to tell of.

@@gilbertgotfried ARG? Yeah. It's something you have to have a curiosity in yourself and the way the game ends not everyone will leave with that flicker of curiosity. You have to play it twice to even realize there is more. You need to input the Konami code to reactivate the "servers" to do so as well. There's a secret during the second run along with additional dialogue. The whole thing has pretty much been solved and I don't exactly know where to go to get to the coded Braille text or the hotline I heard exists to get the Morse code. You can just skip it though since there isn't much of a mystery left.
