Growing up i always thought it just gave it to you in the inventory at the end of the race. I never knew it was turned into a physical object you had to actually _touch_ to get.
Nobody Important It only works like that on the plane levels. As soon as you beat the level or get all the crates, you automatically get the Crystal/Gem. It SHOULD have done that for the Bike levels as well.
gavin plays jak an daxter precursor legacy, michael plays jak 2 and jeremy plays jak 3, and then they bully gavin in jak x together. i think its a good idea for a lets watch/play.

I played all the PS1 Crash and Spyro games growing up, and have more recently played them all again several times on a PS1 emulator. Tree Tops has got to be one of my favorite Spyro levels in all of the original three, it's got some of the best secret areas I've seen in video games.
In the defence of the fruit bazooka, and the other powerups too, these later levels are built around using that mechanic. It let's the designers get creative with the layouts and the challenges by incorporating an unfamiliar element. It isn't just some game-breaking afterthought. Enemy placement is done in 1 of 2 ways: either with very many so you are forced to shoot them, or they're put around a corner or angle in which you can't shoot them.
I know what happened with Orange Asphalt. When you cross the finish line, it automatically makes you go the direction of the road. Since he hit the finish line at an angle, it put the crystal in front of where he would have been had he gone along the same trajectory. That's how he missed it.
Jeremy and Michael made great let's watch copilots. Michael lying and hoping he fails being the rage quit guy he is. Jeremy hoping for it to end and cheering Gavin on. Great series, glad I came back to finish it. Spyro would be cool when it is possible

The final level before the boss fight may have been the most painful thing I have ever watched, I'm surprised michael and jeremy didn't just grab the controller off him and end the misery.
My only problem with CTR is all of the bosses except for Rippa Roo can be cheesed because of the courses. Like you can beat Oxide before he even starts lap 3, nothing like Nitro Cart where you had to have some skill to stay ahead of Velo.
