what choso basically said in that he can feel his brothers' "transformations" and for all living things death is the final "transformation" they go through so in s1 end he instantly felt that his brothers died he sensed it. Those non existent memories he got the moment he intended to kill itadori were that same feeling that his brother was gonna die meaning he sensed yuji's death just like with his brothers (and saw their blood mixing). Because he knows thats something that only happens with his blood related brothers he is 100% sure that yuji is also his blood related brother

But Choso is indeed related to Itadori by blood because Kenjaku played a part in Itadori being so physically strong in the beginning of the anime, the same way he played a part in Choso being born, so in a weird way Kenjaku is both Choso and Itadori's 3rd parent.
