Great video my friend,i had the same issue on my ria 1911 with the slide not locking back and i replaced the slide stop with a Wilson combat, problem solved, take care and stay safe.
Great video man you actually gave us some information. Yeah a lot of the videos time to piss me off because in the caption it said all this other s*** and once I watched it they didn't say a word they just popped off about 50 rounds
Nowadays you can get 10 round mags for the 1911 which makes it carry worthy in my book. As someone who has a hi cap mag ban in WA along with a assault weapon's ban. id rather have 10 rounds of .45 than 9mm
So I'm not sure what you have going on with your RIA 1911, but I have put over 1000 rounds down range and never had any issues at all. I know folks have filed down the feed ramp just a little, and they have not had any issues since. I also carry the Springfield Hellcat OPS variant. The basic difference between the 45ACP and 9MM is its take-down power. 45 will terninat vice 9 will take a little more. But the BIG Sceam of things, it's your preference
For that to be an A1 clone, it would need an arched mainspring housing and the correct plastic fully checkered GI grips. But it’s close enough. More people prefer the flat mainspring housing these days, myself included.
I put Wilson Combat magazines on my RIA and I never had issues nose diving rounds. Moreover, I learned that the original magazines from this handgun if you put only 7 rounds on them, the rounds don't nose dive into the magazines.
My EDC is the 16Rd RIA Tac Ultra HC in 10MM, Full rail and dust cover with Threaded Barrel, got it for Just $799.00 6300 Rounds and Counting. @David Ray

@@bobpritchard979 it shoots great, just doesn't always lock back on empty mag. Could just be a mag thing, I believe they are Sig mags.
@hinahanta I only by Springfield 1911 mags. Little pricy, but worth it.

Great little beater/truck guns.
Most likely is a problem with the GI model because, I purchased the tactical model and I never had issues.
WILSON COMBAT MAKES A GREAT MAG.!!~~😛👍👍🤟🤘💙
The ONLY 1911 mag to use is Wilson Combat.
Wilson combat and chip macs make the best 1911 magazines.
I will have to get me a mag or two, thanks.
use Wilson combat mags,no failures to lock back
I love mine, but I changed the grips, they were too slippery for me
You have a mag issue maybe you can adjust the metal thing on the top of the mag spring forgot the name maybe that is the issue
Both mags, they are Sig mags, they run great, just lock the slide back 5% of the time hahaha.
Good shot don't need 15 bullets
Colt m 1911 45 acp , with silencer
What type of belt should i buy online? For EDC
@@Beerian97 That would be a good question, I don't carry this on me but I am sure there are a lot of options.
Wilson Combat mags will fix that issue
Inertial firing pin?
Hmm, the firing pin is not free floating, there is a spring that keeps it from protruding.
Made in pilipinas good quality export
They use some of the Same tooling from WWII which makes for a Tight "Fit & Finish" Great side arm.
