The main difference between Cajun and Blackened seasoning is the Blackened has some kind of Sugar for the caramelization during cooking.

Blackened and Cajun are essentially the same thing. Cajun can mean all of the foods of a type and blackened is a specific part of Cajun foods, and that would be true, but you can call something Cajun instead of Blackened and vice versa and locals won't be perturbed. I loooooove their blackened chicken and their blackened fish...I get the Spicy versions. 10/10. Thanks for sharing these to help promote them. Popeye's has really good food, but usually the WORST employees, lol!
My favorite was the Hardees chicken stix. Sometimes mom would let me get the 9 piece. Heaven.

(06:50) I had no idea that Blackened was spice-related. We grew up believing that it referenced a cooking error...like Mom's signature "smoked turkey" at Thanksgiving ('It's just fine.") and Dad's "burnt ends" from the Char-broil grille ("Give it to the dog then!). We poured gravy over everything when we were kids. Culinary desert here, I guess...

Best thing on their menu and they are cooked fresh to order so expect a 5 minute wait.
I LOVE the Mardi Gras mustard. It is wonderful on a LOT of things. I order extras to use at home on Hot Dogs too.

I was shocked to hear they are fried, although I guess considering it's Popeye's what other way would they cook them otherwise than throwing them in a microwave?
My choice. I prefer Popeye’s to all of them. KFC I second. I know this is yummy.

Nope not even close to as good.
I kinda hate how you order with either doordash or uber eats.. and you asked for sauce with these tenders.. Never get what you ask for. Never get the mustard or the blacken ranch. It's just a random sauce other then what you ask. it's suck. I loved there sweet heat sauce but never get that either if I ask. I only get it if I got and order it myself in person.
