As much as I respect this man, it won't do you any good on the street with the power and speed that he showed, you have no way of using any grip techniques unless you're in a position for a certain amount of time, you pull the knife away, you stand, you have your hand firmly around the handle, you have a fist to hit, none of that will do you any good what he shows at the beginning, I'm sorry, I actually expected more
100%. I’ve been in my share of brawls. Street fights are pure chaos and no one really has their wits about them in those situations. Adrenaline takes over, fine motor skills are out the window and afterwards no one that was actually in that fight can recall in detail wtf just happened. If someone pulls a knife on you with the FULL intent to kill you, if you can’t run, and no one intervenes, you’re most likely dead, that’s just how that works.

I was worried when I heard cold steel was sold. But the new owners GSM, went way out of their way to get me washers for a 10 year old knife. Stick bent over backwards to make it right. Which he was not obligated to do. Cold steel is in good hands I believe.

In addition to carrying weapons for self-defense, you must also have relevant training and learn to use weapons so that you can escape from danger when encountering relevant situations. Otherwise, those defensive weapons are just decorations.
Salute buddy for being real....you are probably still going to get stabbed/cut pretty badly. Also it takes a lot of training/technique/repetition for your brain and adrenaline to keep you from acting on other instincts.
-disarming---that aint a thing at all with civvies on the streets. problem with your trainers are that they are black---make them green or red or orange---just not black or gray unless you are training daily then your gonna still get hurt no matter what ----but its combat--so its not a "knife fight" like in the movies----so maybe your going against guns, batons, pepper spray----
