I was doing some door knocking a few weeks ago and got permission to hunt an old 1800's store front. The property owner gave me permission to hunt the property and ended up following me around like a puppy. For the first time ever, I found a gold ring. It was my very first piece of gold and he immediately put his hand out. But he did allow me to keep the 1994 matchbox car that I found. He said it didnt belong to any of his children so I can keep it. That ended my day right then and there. I already knew how the rest of the day was going to go if I stuck around. I'm sure you can imagine how I felt when it was time to pack it up. I drove away pretty unhappy without the ring. Needless to say, that was the last time I'll allow a property owner to follow me around. It'll either be, I have permission to hunt and keep what I find or I'm walking away. I'm not going though that again!
My weird step brother wanted me to detect his 1850 property. Then he mentioned that he keeps all finds, I said no, it’s 50/50. He says it’s my yard. I reply it’s my equipment and time. He said absolutely not. I told him then no. See ya.
I have stayed away from permissions. 1 I am to shy to even ask ok Nervous. Not that I would get an Answer of NO!! But the part of going up to their door and knocking and interrupting their day. I pretty much start my videos with no flashy into or anything just get right into digging.. Thanks for sharing .. Peace

Don’t say the C word..
LOL
But the R word is fine
When people hear "relic" they tend to think of something outdated, useless, and in poor condition.
