There are a few omissions that I just can't fathom that 1. David wright become in the franchise all-time hit leader and RBI leader 2. Daniel Murphy breaking the record for hitting a homerun in consecutive playoff ( only reason I thought they would show that is because I showed the groms 11 strikeout in the playoffs ( 3. Wilmer Flores tying the franchise lead for hits in 1 game. Or his franchise leading walk offs 4. Don't know if they had the footage but Tom seaver winning 25 games in one season which is the most in the franchise. 5. Tom Glavine's 300th win ( if you're going to show Gary Sheffield 500th HR and that was literally his first hit with the team)
@@thegoodfight365 tell me about it. I'm 42 been a Yankee fan since i knew what mlb was. Before the late 90s early 2000s run fans were not the way they are now. The whole win or it's a failure b.s.! I saw some of the worst Yankee seasons ever in the early 90's. Most kids my age were Mets fans bc they had won the W.S. in 86. I always tell people I'm a baseball fan that happens to be a Yankee fan.
Truth be told, but if there was video review back then, it would've clearly shown that Beltran got a hit in the game that Johan Santana pitched a no hitter in. The replay clearly showed that Beltran's liner down the left field line touched chalk inside the left field line. I saw that game and I was like Whoa! But, it's still a no hitter in the books, so that's what counts. ⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️
Some people are calling out some things that you probably should have caught as far as inclusion in your list is concerned. Allow me offer you 1 more obscure moment: the last time I won a sports bet, I was in the fifth grade, and I bet a classmate a quarter, that the Mets would win the World Series.
Those black hats need to come back in the worst way, and the jerseys weren't bad either. Replace those eyesore blue jerseys and that awful hat with the orange bill.
I paid $2.00 at the thrift store, not $ 87.50 at the stadium...😁 I needed a hat.. would rather put a pile of shit on my head than a Yankee (gag) hat..so there!! 😉😉😁😁😘😘
There was no technical cheating with cameras back then Baseball should go back to the good old days Go to my channel Btw never saw anyone’s comments on a Mets vid have this many replies
We got robbed not having Gary call Alonso's homerun.
VixDiesel Amen
*53'rd home run .
The Fox guy made me so upset thinking about how much better gary would have been.
Game shouldn't have been on fox we weren't in playoff race
@@alanconnelly3921 I'm sure Fox wanted the glory of showing the homerun and getting credit for it every time it was shown on other networks.
I never get tired of looking at Mets video..old and new.. especially now since it's all we got!!

FaZe taze all of his homeruns combined is 20 minutes in 1 video
I LOVE that Enron ad in Houston at 3:55.
I was also 19 on that day me and Doc share the same birthday 11/16/64 one of my top 10 Mets of all time.
Who else thinks Doc should be in the HOF despite his trouble?? He deserves it! He was magical.
Doc should be in the HOF!
You know you really miss baseball when you are a Yankee fan watching Mets milestones vids
Youre among the few Yankee fans that actually enjoy baseball.

How do they forget David Wright's all time hit leader moment?
This made me cry thanks
The 1986 Mets Were One Of The Greatest Teams In MLB History !!!

There is crying in baseball Mr. Hanks! Wilmer taught us that.👍
So striking out the first 8 batters to start a game and tying the major league record does not count as a milestone or a record?
The Mets lead the league in crying on the field, but I absolutely love it. Players with that type of emotion = winners.
Degrom is my number one favorite player in baseball
DeGrom struck out 13 in that game, not 11
Damn shame Fonzie's back gave out on him.
Wayne Randazzo did a pretty good job on Alonso's 53rd HR. The other call is just so stale.
I’m a Cubs fan but the Mets are my second favorite. LFGM
The_Vicman006 thank you kindly
The_Vicman006 thank you kindly
Sox fan but I respect true mets fans cause they loyal
Mstt holliday

And he threw a no hitter....thats domination
I miss Shea Stadium and Citifield. I have moved. Let’s Go Mets!
I think dwight Gooden pitched for the indians in 1998
Where's the part where they fired Willie Randolph? One of the worst decisions they ever made
And that was after the first game of a west coast trip
Steve Cohen was there !! 6:08
No Glavine 300th win?
Missed alot of record moments
16:26 Awe
Pete Alonso is a BEAST!!!
My 2 favorite player is Pete Alonso
8:56 where's the ball??
Did anyone think Santana would blow out him arm for that no hitter?
4:05 - Enron, lol.
Were is the Captain breaking the hits record
Also, I ❤️ Pete Alonso.

I ❤️ Wilmer Flores.

Mets fan don’t try
I don't think you're very well versed in baseball history if you think cheating is a new thing.
