When it's 1am, I just wanted to get off of your computer to go to sleep, and Let's learn Ukrainian uploads what is probably the most useful video, judging by the title, I think "just one more". Low and behold, it's 1h. And now I'm in this weird state between excitement and eagerness to learn and tiredness.
I just worked so hard on this video that when it was finally ready I could not wait to post it hahah
And yes, the video definitely is the most useful if the title says USEFUL 😂🙈
Finished the video just now after not getting through it last night and your hard work definitely shows. And I was surprised how many of these I actually knew already. But don‘t get me wrong, I still benefitted from this nonetheless!
@@silentpseudolinguist yes! Recognizing the words you already know is sort of positive motivation (to me, at least). Plus, a little revision will do no harm.
I just found a couple of channels teaching arabic this way, with lengthy vocabulary videos. I enjoyed them so much and for inspired to do something similar on this channel as well 😁
Haha beat 3 am... this is a lifestyle for me now
My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Thanks to the author of the channel for this interesting video! Good luck to everyone who studies a foreign language and wants to realize their full potential!
Thank you so much for creating these videos! I live in Finland and I was born here. We've received Ukrainians in many cities and since they are learning Finnish, I feel like I also want to learn some Ukrainian to show my respect to them in these hard times. I think Ukrainian sounds beautiful 💙💛
What a beautiful motivation to learn! Thank you so much 💙💛
I think like you: I also learn this language to show my respect for this country and their hard time. I pray for peace!

I too am learning Ukrainian too and expressed a desire to show support, personal use and find me a good (i mean a really good ) Ukrainian woman (because there's good and bad women in this world) who possess both inner and outer beauty and is a good soul and is 💯%trustful and loyal enough to win my heart it's not every i meet people in general particularly if they might be Ukrainian
I'm American -- my mother's Ukrainian parents came here in the early 1900s and their families were from Galicia (what it was called at the time), the Lviv area, and Velizh (Велиж) in the Smolensk Oblast of Russia. My parents sent me to have Ukrainian lessons when I was a child, but it wasn't enough. It is great to learn the language of my relatives via RUclips. It sounds so comforting and familiar, even if I don't understand it.

Love your video! Was staying in Lviv for 9 weeks this year and my goal is to understand most Ukrainian next year when I go back in summer!
Even when I speak English with most people I meet; it could be a lovely skill to master in the next six months!

@@LetsLearnUkrainian actually, it would be extremely helpful for me to have a video or some resource about children's words in Ukrainian. Animals in children's language, body parts, bodily needs etc. English don't have it but our Slavic languages do. The dictionaries and translators don't count with it. So I watch cartoons for kids and try to learn from here.

Originally I have learned Russian language. I don't understand current situation, however, I started learning Ukrainian language.
I have looked for good materials. Finally I found your video. Super! Excellent! Gratefully thanks!
Russian pronounces differently from all slavic languages. For example you see word begans with O but it reads A, or E changes to I, G changes to V. It's all because russians are not actually slavs and russian language is artificial.
Доброго дня!
Щиро дякую!
Бажаю вам міцного здоров'я, щастя, миру, добробуту, благополуччя, успіхів!

Thanks for the video. I've always said 'bez problem' rather than 'nema problem', and it seems to be understood. Have I been making a mistake, or it's a valid alternative? I assume I picked it up from someone else.
Yes, it is perfectly fine to say Нема проблем/без проблем 😊 thank you for watching!

Quite good!! - Peculiar why it is that she, so frequently, keeps thrusting her left elbow, vigorously, backwards, into the air as though she wants to, violently, attack someone, who isn't there, behind her!
Okay, so I've had this imaginary friend called Stefa for 7 years now. Sometimes she wants to be in the video. I don't always want her with me in the video. Not in this one, at least. I thought nobody would notice, if I kick her lightly out of the picture but apparently that's not the case. Thankfully, I was smart enough to cut off every piece where I was screaming at her to back the hell off.
I am glad you enjoyed the video nevertheless!
Great video, thank you

Hello beautiful!
Thanks so much for making these videos, they are very useful for learning Ukrainian. I agree with you about having a long video so that you don’t have to restart as often. Many other Ukrainian learning channels are not as clear speaking as you are.
It’s loud enough to be honest, I have seen people complaining about that but it can be turned up if they really need to.
On request I have is I drive a truck for a living now and I really can mostly utilize the audio and large captions so I really appreciate most aspects of this video.

I'm glad to read this! Thank you for watching 💙💛 it's okay to not pronounce some words with an accent, especially when you're just starting to learn!
Great video!
Thank you so much for the very useful phrases! It is hard to find reliable translations online. Hearing the words being used by a native speaker makes me feel more confident that I know what I’m saying will be right. Please keep the videos like this coming! My only advice would be to maybe add romanized version of the words with the Ukrainian and English. I am still learning the alphabet and seeing the English sounds for the word really helps me out to break down the sounds of the word and say it back.
I will consider that! Thank you for watching 💙💛🙏
Hi i'm from Ukraine. I'd help y with Ukrainian
@@LetsLearnUkrainian I am able to read Ukrainian much better now. It is very helpful that most words sound how they are spelled. I have watched this video atleast 5 times yo really understand the phrases. Again thanks so much!
Thanks for the useful video! I have a question: Why do we have to put "б" or "би" after "хотіла" in front of "копити"? я хотіла б копити..
Б doesn't have a particular meaning here, but combined with Я хотіла, it means I would like to or I would want to buy. Without б "я хотіла купити" just means " I wanted to buy"
Very good lessons 👍
