Just replaced digitizer and screen, easy with a heat pad. Screen broke two days later. Where can I can I get a new digitizer with gorilla glass? Did not drop phone, maybe squeezed it when pulling it out of holster, and it should not crack when I did that, but did. All the digitizers on ebay come from china and may be defective.
Yes... Screens come from china, and maybe you got a bad one. Did you contact the seller about that problem? You can also find the original screen and digitizer, because the replace screen is lcd, and the original is Oled. Aliexpress has a good price on.original OLED screens, you could search there

Is it possible to install a used lcd screen from used phone bought for parts? Or possible to replace hard drive(?) ..want to retrieve/save data on broke phone only a month old. Or new only?

He is just applying some tape so that the button does not fall of when he fits the screen back to place. When he removes the protective film the tape goes away

Hello,
After i replace the LCD of a Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017), the customer tells me that he can receive calls but not SMS anymore. Also apparently it makes a problem with the proximity sensor, he also says his screen turns off whenever he receive a call...
I only heat the corners, remove LCD and fix the new one with the only flex it has. Then i put a double tape frame special for it and i fix both parts… A normal reparation like i did before.
How to fix those problems and what can be the problem pls guys?

For pinned comment for china displays.... It is very true! I had few (AAA class) displays for J5 2015 and 2016 which broke at slightest pressue when i mounted the display on frame. Beware of those displays. You want to earn more money, but instead, you have lost it....

I bought it 2 years ago, and sold it laat year... As far i know it's still working, but i can't find any history info from my purchases... But i think, if you are worried about shippment, try to search 4-5 star sellers that are high rsted and have dozen sold items

Thanks for the video! I broke my screen a while back and just got a replacement lcd. However when I connect it, the screen is black. It only lights up for a second but no Samsung logo and boot up. Before with the broken screen it would boot up but no touch response. Do you know what this might be because of?
Is your phone charged up? Try to connect back the broken screen and see what happens. It might be that you have received a broken screen.

Can't see samsung logo anymore. In my case samsung logo place looks like more blackish. Probzbly psinted with black color.can ai see the samsung logo at tol?
They might have sent you a defective screen. I sugest you to take some pictures and send them to your suplier.

A gap? how is that possible? did you buy the right screen?
I would only recommend fluid adhesive, the one in the video is too thick. Do not use this kind of adhesive!
Dude if it has a gap it means you didn't bought the original display .The original display uses OLED technology which is thinner then the (TFT) .It means that the TFT is thicker then the OLED ,that s why you can't fit yours . And last thing the TFT is cheaper then the OLED which make sense ,the OLED is more brighter then the TFT .

I just replaced a screen on this phone model, I only have a hair dryer at home and it worked well, just have patience and do one one side/edge of the phone screen at a time.

On the last model i repaired, it did. I think it's because the hreplacement screen is slightly thicker, so it gets to bounce around a bit, but i managed to put some plastic under the button to get it up and in place before the gluing

And the material is double adhesive strip, altough, now i use B7000 - liquid glue
Where did you buy it from? I found like a knockoff from eBay for 27$ with all tools like screwdrivers and priers.

There's a gap showing in the bottom part of the screen, this screen doesn't sit well. I did a replacement just now, same thing. I suspect it has to do with the sticky tape the original screen is sitting on but I'm not sure.
+Jo Veteran i think you're right. The sticky tape is a bit thicker than the original
snowkingcro I thought the problem was that it's thinner. I'm actually thinking of removing the screen again and putting the old tape in. And I already glued the whole thing using b7000. I'll probably break it but I just can't stand that gap.

Ekran je prije godinu dana koštao oko 380kn, sada vidim da je cca 200-250kn... To je cijena ekrana, a za zamjenu uzimam 100kn. Jedina stvar je što sam do Nove Godine zatrpan.

stavio si lcd ekran, j3 2016 ima oled ekran, zaista ne znam kako radi lcd ovde
LCD je malo deblji, ali odlično sjeda u rub mobitela, i zapravo jedina razlika je vidljiva na jakom suncu - nema taj kontrast koji ima OLED!

yes, i was charging the phone one day i got two j3 and tried two batteries still same, tried with power button and volume down, always the same result could be some other problem or?
Well i think it might be something else. If the phone does not turn on whether the screen is connected or not, theres another problem...

It's double sided adhesive tape. It holds the display in place, and it's not mandatory to use it.
