I just recently came across your videos. But they are so helpful and I appreciate that so much. In my area, homeschooling is rare and it is very difficult to find seasoned homeschoolers to look to for advice. So this was so helpful to me! ❤️
We switched to a CM learning style and left TGATB behind, yet a year later and my 7 years old still begs me to do it 😅. I may have to pull it back out haha
Thank you for these videos! They are always so helpful.😊 We are still in search for a history curriculum for next year. I am thinking something with American history. We did the Good and Beautiful history 1 this year.
We do like it so far. My daughter likes listening to the audio recordings that comes with it. So far it is working for us. I am so curious too about the new history but it says it won’t be out until 2024.
It would be fun if you rank the science units you've done with the good and the beautiful from least favorite to favorite. They are what we use for science too and I am always interested what others favorites have been :)
My kids are obsessed with TGTB paleontology unit. We tried their science before and didn't love it. We gave it another shot and they it's a home run with this particular unit! We also broke out our Notgrass 50 states and are really enjoying it again. My kids had to do paper rock scissors over which of the two we would do yesterday if that tells you anything...
Loved this video. We used BF Books Early American History Primary and we all loved it so much! Highly recommend! We used Masterbooks Americas Story this year and its great as well, but not quite as engaging. We too use and love TGTB unit studies, we are just in the middle of the Geology unit. His favorite was the Marine Biology unit :) I'm in the midst of deciding on curriculum for next year and its a little overwhelming, but so glad for videos like this to help!
I would actually say some of my favorites are the first 2 you mentioned! We've recently started the science devotional along with Marine Biology. It's our first TGTB science unit, but I'm really enjoying it and appreciate how well it's laid out! For LA, my son started using Grammar Galaxy this year and he is loving it! He hates English, so it's a huge win that he's asking to do it now!
I am gearing up for next year. I have 3 young kids all relatively close in age. Do you feel it’s easiest to do some family subjects together (maybe Bible/science/history/art) and then grade level math and LA? Wondering what your experience has been
We loved TGTB marine biology!!! We tried IEW with my oldest and it didn’t work for him!!! We are looking at other options at the moment!!! We love TGTB language arts!!! We are debating on if we want beautiful feet or sonlight for science history for my older daughter!!! We just use books for geography got all my kids otherwise I’d use around the world with picture books!!!
I would love to hear what your plans are for history next year. We are currently loving Our Star Spangled Story from Notgrass, but I'm not sure what we will use for ancient/world history for next year.

So happy to hear it’s been helpful! I always, and still do get, so much helpful information from other RUclips homeschooling moms.
Ordering Fix it Grammar now for next year and How Great Is Our God now - thank you!
Nice!!
Hearing you talk about BFB Around the World is making me even more excited to start it!
I’m sure you’ll add your own flare to make it even better 😊

Did you like TGTB? I’m so curious about their new version!

O I’ve seen people do that…it’s fun!
I’m super excited to use TGTB science units. Good to know your girls have enjoyed them! I can’t wait to see all your curriculum picks for next year!
I can’t wait to see either 😂 still deciding!!

We’re so excited to do paleontology next year! Glad to hear you like it!
Love your sweater!😍
Thanks!

Sounds like you have some great choices!
Always love to see the curriculum wins!
We loved how great is our God too! It was a really great devotional ❤️
I’d seen it before but your review convinced me 😉☺️

We are going to try the Good and Beautiful science for the first time in August. I'm thinking about trying the Night Zoo Keeper. Good video. Thanks!
Both are great!! ❤️❤️❤️

Marine biology is beautiful!
Great video 😊 I’ll have to look into the devotional you mentioned, How Great is our God because my boys love science!
Then they’ll love it! There is another one called indescribable…we might use it next year

Absolutely! We’ve always done those subjects together 😊

I’ve always heard great things about IEW, but someone else mentioned it didn’t work. If you find something that works to share it!
What grade did you add in Fix it grammar? This was a fun video. ❤
She was in 5th (it was our first year). But people have added it earlier than that too. It starts off gently but definitely progresses
TGTB LA new level 1 and 2 have been great for my above average learner. The phonics teachings have been perfect for her.
Off topic but I am curious if you know the gender of your baby? I secretly hope it’s a boy!
Haha I need to reveal it a day in the life video or something!
@@thepracticalhomeschooler that would be awesome!

Still deciding on that one! It’s a hard one. Definitely American history though
