'If something great disappers, something greater appears' And you have done complete justice to Ember and his tank. I do agree making that Timmy's new home I'll be waiting for that MD!
Me too!! I mean, not that exact specific obviously but just a giant shallow tank full of cories. Plenty of tannins, tons of leaf litter and a jungle of twisty branches. A few big swords and or jungle val in the back... ahhh it'd be so cool to see swarms of cories bumbling through it all
Corydoras are the best on sand, because they love to sit on the sand or dig a little bit. So i would love to see a Corydoras scape :-) By the way, i love your channel
Mine really got lively once the angels were out of their tank but I'm still not convinced they are thriving as much being completely alone and not part of a complicated ecosystem
I would love love love to see you do a cory tank, and my 87 year old mother is highly interested as well. Also, I loved Ember and I'm so sorry he's gone. He looked like a Disney character, so sweet. And finally, I love this tank a lot and I'm amazed at the number of fish you have in there, and I do agree with you that much more fish and it'd feel, IMO, like too much to track all at once.
I've been watching you since the beginning and your builds have inspired me so much I now have 11 tanks keep building no matter what you do it will be amazing.

Il be moving to Paignton in a week and can't wait to visit the Zoo!! Moving from hard water Reading .. to presumably soft .. fingers crossed my fish survive the journey and change in water.. love Cory's.. !
We have our baby musk turtle in a 40 gallon breeder tank. You can go higher with the water, as long as he can surface on a dry spot.. Just saying you don't have to keep the water line as low as half. We have ours nearly to the top with four places he can exit and two that are covered by his basking lights. You inspired our turtle!

The tank looks amazing. Everytime I see the colombians though I keep thinking that I would love to see what you could do with a natural Africa-inspired tank. I'm specifically thinking about Congo Tetras. I think they're gorgeous and one of the most underrated fish and I'm sure you would make a fantastic environment for them. Also thanks for bringing back my interest in the hobby, haven't had a tank since my early teens but I'm soon setting up a new tank at home, really exciting!

Your videos are as enjoyable as they are educational
I had only one panda left from a previous batch, and wanted to get something different when I did some rescaping. Settled on pygmies so I could get a nice big group. Was thinking about some kind of tetra or rasbora for the top of the tank. But seeing my panda zipping around with the pygmies, I'm seriously considering making it a corydora only tank instead, maybe with more pandas or at least some type a little closer to Mama Panda's size. (She really looks like the Pied Piper or Old Mother Hubbard when they all follow her around!) I wouldn't be able to get a very big group of bigger ones, but I think I'd just love to watch them.
@@pjp9383 i did it once and had it for half a year. my mistake was the substrate i used and corys themselves, i had 5 albinos and 7 sterbaes in a 45cm shallow tank and in no time they outgrew the tanks, kinda felt cramped for them and i took them out. Please do a Sterbae or Peppered cory tank! white sand with some light planting!! it would look amazing and these species would really pop with their designs. Maybe get both and have just 2 large schools! Also maybe you could do something with tiger barbs haha, one of my fav fish.
A really cool and peaceful S.A. Cichlid is Dicrossus filamentosus or checkerboard cichlid. Or a slightly larger S.A. peaceful cichlid, laetacara Dorisigera or Red Breasted Accra.
Great tank. I've had issues with B. Rams and tetras in the same tank. Tetras are such aggressive eaters and Rams eat very slowly. They have a hard time getting enough food.
Absolutely gorge! Can you please include the dimensions of the tanks you are spotlighting and volume in gallons or liters, please? It would be so helpful for us beginners at home when planning the proper population of fish when creating something similar at home. Thanks!
Honestly amazing tank, I feel like what you're missing in this tank isn't more of the mid water swimmers but instead need more top and bottom dwellers.
That Timmy, is one spoiled turtle! I have admit that I really love the tank he;s in right now with his little fishy friends…. But you’re the boss ! So sorry for Ember, he was gorgeous.
Hey MD, loving your vids. You should give Diamond tetras a try. Diamond tetras are silver color,, but they get a smokey Grey and purple and also hints of green. They are beautiful. Also, should try doing an African river/flooded forest tank and house Congo tetras and other species. 😁
A single angel, I’ve been planning a tank just like this. 3 rams or apistos, a big school of tetra and a single angel to contrast all the fast moving tetra
you should definitely do a pygmy cory only tank they are my favourite fish and are so great to watch when in large groups and they don't just stay at the bottom.
Move some of the Tetras over to the Discus Tank. Move the Apistogramma to Amazon aquarium. I know they aren’t from the Amazon but get Swordtails for the Amazon aquarium.
I now have a school of 16 pygmies, and they are so awesome. And I will say that with rocks and plants and driftwood for them to interact with, they certainly don't confine themselves to the bottom of the tank.
Hey MD this is just an idea for a vid i reckon alot has changed recently with all large tanks being changed was wondering if maybe a setup tour again because have'nt seen a lot of fish in a while like the pleco and everything so thought it might be a good idea for a studio's tour for all the new viewers :))
No, he gave the pleco away to a friend quite a few weeks ago now, and he wasn’t convinced the pleco was happy, and his friend keeps them, so decided it was best all round

BEAUTIFUL PLANT COLLECTION
Awesome, I love the Amazon set up. I think a Hatchet fish would be cool but they are jumpers so maybe Rainbow Emperor Tetras? + Rummynose
Amazing stuff as always! Thank you! And yes love TIMMMMMY! 🐢 🥰
Angels should be kept in a group 🌿🐠🐠🐠🐠🐠🌱
Yes Cory tank. Sounds so fun.
you should definitely do a pygmy cory only tank they are my favourite fish and are so great to watch when in large groups and they don't just stay at the bottom.
timmys tank sounds great, I love paignton zoo! I used to go there all the time and spend forever in that area 😅
Your tanks are always very amazing!!!
Move some of the Tetras over to the Discus Tank. Move the Apistogramma to Amazon aquarium. I know they aren’t from the Amazon but get Swordtails for the Amazon aquarium.
YES to cory tank!!! Pandas are my favorite fish.
A big group of pygmy cories would be awesome. So interesting to watch their behaviour in a big group
I now have a school of 16 pygmies, and they are so awesome. And I will say that with rocks and plants and driftwood for them to interact with, they certainly don't confine themselves to the bottom of the tank.
i genuinely love your videos so much! there so informative and entertaining :)
Hey MD this is just an idea for a vid i reckon alot has changed recently with all large tanks being changed was wondering if maybe a setup tour again because have'nt seen a lot of fish in a while like the pleco and everything so thought it might be a good idea for a studio's tour for all the new viewers :))
I thought he gave the pleco away.....
@@prasadprabu3904 oh did he I though he still had the golden nugget??
No, he gave the pleco away to a friend quite a few weeks ago now, and he wasn’t convinced the pleco was happy, and his friend keeps them, so decided it was best all round
@@bradapple9305 Oh okay mustve missed that, gotta agree still think we need a studio's tour :)
@@isaacdeckert5388 me too, even though it’ll make me extremely jealous 😂
