You just made my day. I am almost 70 and its been many years since I saw an onion cut up in the hand. My Mom always did that (no cutting boards in our house) and you cut an onion just like her. Thank you and the recipe looks amazing 😊😊
My Mama cut them in her hand also. It is dangerous though as the knife could slip and cut you if it's sharp enough. My Mama cooked for many years. She cut herself very rarely, so this is a skill we need back
Thank you ma'am for sharing. I was never taught to cook but i love to eat good homemade food so i learn from good women like you that are so kind to spend their time in the kitchen teaching and sharing your recipes and therefore your history. I am truly grateful for the wealth of knowledge you and other women (and even men) share so that people like me have an opportunity to learn and enjoy really great food.
Thank you Madame ..... great job .... going to try this next week. My wife has been diagnosed with Dementia so I have been doing most of the cooking ...... always looking for new recipes. God Bless.
Hi Georgia, Michele from Texas... your's was the first video that popped up, it looked so GOOD. I watched, you cook just like me, I HAVE to subscribe! Thank you so much!😊❤
@@georgiacookingforthesoul TY😊 I made the pork chops yesterday and I couldn't believe I had NO ONION!😳 So I decided to mix a pkg of onion soup mix in the cr of mushroom...YUMMMM!😋
I do the same but if it's a day I'm not feeling like doing extra steps, no browning is fine with me. We love leftovers of this so for just the 2 of us I do a family pak of chops with two cans and some milk. It's definitely on heavy rotation as expensive as everything is getting.
Woowee!!!!!!! Look at how tender those pork chops are!!!!! Falling off the bone tender!!!!! I'm from Georgia, too. Born and Raised, Riverdale, Georgia!!!! I also wanted to tell you that I appreciate how you used just the dishes and utensils you absolutely needed. All these cooking shows on TV have every ingredient in its own little bowl and cutting boards and 80,000 (😮 not really, but it is a heap-load) of different utensils. As a Mama of 7 children, just the thought of all that dish washing makes me wanna jump outta my skin! I got enough to do without adding all those dishes! So, 😘 to you for making it so easy for us. Love your channel, honey. I'm making these chops for dinner tonight!🤗😉😉
Happy Monday, Ann. Those look really good. I'll be making them soon. It's cold now, and they would be just the right thing to fix. You're right, they make a great addition to Thanksgiving dinner. I'm not crazy about ham, anyway. Stay safe and warm. Awesome video! 😘🙏

Ann have you ever put the rice in bottom of your casserole dish before you put everything else in it? I think l will try that when l make mine cause l do that when l make chicken and rice. It comes out perfect every time as long as you use two cups of water for every cup of rice! Tfs your recipe❤ have blessed week
You don't have to use exactly the same seasoning. It could be just salt, pepper, onion powder or just a real onion, garlic and that's all you need. Thank You for your comment!
That's the way you cook yours, I appreciate you letting me know, but I don't like mine that way, however I cook on my channel is the way I like to eat my food. Old School Way. No milk. Save that for Shrimp Scampi.

One of my favorite dishes but i use two cans to make it more rich its also awesome if you brown the chops before the oven!
That's good.

Riverdale Georgia, I have been there before.
My family loved it with the potatoes
I'm glad they enjoyed it. I love it that way, too.
I use milk instead of water and I use green onion instead of white but all is good, make it your own way.
You are right Glenda either way it's good.
Very good ❤
Glad you like it! Thank You so much!
This is an old school recipe that was a staple for me back in the day. My only suggestion is skip the water and then you won’t need a thickener.
Everyone cooks different.
@@georgiacookingforthesoul Right I probably would have used two cans of soup

Hurray!! I am happy that they come out good and that you all enjoyed the pork chops.
I am so proud of you.
How long did you cook it?
One and half hours. Make sure it's cooked to the way you like, because everyone oven cooks different.
I have one can of cream of celery. I’m going to make it do what it do. I usually use 2 cans but today I’m not making a special trip to the store.
I think it will be delicious.
I used one can of celery soup tonight with 5 chops. It smells so good in my house. I have several cans but only used 1 and I think that it will be ok
Can I brown there for a few minutes after I have cooked them
Currently cooking this now
I hope you enjoyed them.
What can i use for thickening because they are already in the oven, should i take them out now and then put them back in the oven.
You could always use one teaspoon or tablespoon of flour or corn starch for thickening anything. Use a tablespoon if you have a lot of meat.
Ann have you ever put the rice in bottom of your casserole dish before you put everything else in it?

Just cooked some pork chops went by ur recipe
Oh good; I hope you enjoyed them.
Do you cover it?
Yes, you have to cover it.
We don't have that seasoning in the UK what's in it ,thank you xx

This is the only video I've seen using the right seasonings
Thank You so much Jesse!
Season near me is like slam bound thinking man. The meat is getting a quickey.

What are you talking about?
That's crazy because it's literally easy
Don't forget the foil

All I'm looking for is HOW LONG ON WHAT DEGREE
Cook on 375 in oven until pork chops get tender and the gravy thickens and have the taste you want. It may take one and half hours to two hours.
Well I didn't see you put the rice in
The rice were cooked separate. This Is Cream Of Mushroom Pork Chops.

Sear the pork chops first saute onion in same pan use milk instead of water

the whole recipe was on point until the water steps.
