    I just finished a class on energy efficient construction techniques sith ICF being one of the modules. Interesting you are using ICF rather than SIP for the walls and not just the foundation. Makes sense though. Did you consider using SIP walls?

      Great question. I found out about SIPS later on in my research and I had some friends with experience with ICF that I could lean into for help which ultimately led me to stick with it. The disaster resistance of ICF that is basically unique to it as a building method is also pretty appealing longevity wise.

      @@SethAshworth Very true. I really liked rammed-earth. Living in the west it is a great alternative ang greatly reduces your green footprint side you source the dirt from the building site. Plus you get great insulation properties and the layers of dirt look real cool.
