About the HOPE Series:
Created in 2020 at the start of the pandemic, this free, online series supports the resilience of our global community through social emotional arts. In accordance with our mission, with this series we aim to enhance the innate social-emotional benefits of the arts with supportive practices, such as non-judgmental language and reflection, for self-discovery, connection, and empowerment.

About this Session:
Embrace the beauty of autumn-the season of natural endings and new beginnings-in this experiential, mixed-media workshop designed for exploration, creative expression, and stress relief. Using simple, everyday art materials and leaves from right outside our doors, we’ll create richly textured pieces that will activate our creativity, promote relaxation, and inspire innovative art ideas for self-expression. This online workshop is open to all, and suitable for any level of art expertise.
About the Instructor:
Anna Reyner, MA, ATR, LMFT, is the founder of CreativePlayLA, a training and consulting business that uses art-based approaches to positively impact children and families. She has successfully merged the principles of art therapy into early childhood education, and specializes in helping teachers add trauma-informed art into their classrooms. Anna is the author of two awarding-winning books, Smart Art and Smart Art 2. She has presented over 1,000 trainings at state, national, and international conferences in her 40 years as a teacher, art therapist, and mental health advocate.
