Hi Guys, I just wanted to leave a comment pinned on this video because I've just changed the title of it,
Not for any other reason than... when I saw the original title of it after I posted it, it just didn't sit right with me and with how I want to move forward with everything that's going on.
Especially after ready so many of your guys messages of support from people who have been through similar situations and kind of get me when I say I've just gotta get my sh*t together and get on with the harsh reality that is life.. so I just want the video title to reflect that. I've had enough of life kicking me down and it's time to get sh*t done

It's okay NOT to be okay. Grief is not linear, it is a roller-coaster. Feel those feelings. They're always temporary anyway. I hate when people say, "BE STRONG." because it makes us think we can't be human and feel our real feelings. Take breaks; create healthy boundaries; don't be afraid to say NO sometimes. Sometimes we PUSH ourselves to put a smile on. But the ache won't go anywhere until we fully process it. Sending love and healing to you!

Couldn't agree more with this comment. Feeling our emotions it's what makes us human, it's makes us more compassion about others around us. It's okay not to be okay. As you said grief is a process that's not linear, with it not only comes sadness but all other kinds of feeling, such anger, despair, denial, guilt. Toxic positivity it's something real.

Dad went from being great to not here in 6 months. But like you said, it's treatable if they get it early enough.

Hi Tom,heartfelt this really was. Don’t ever apologise to be sad,it’s better to have it out then bottle it up. I lost my dad to oesophagus cancer in 2015 and my mum to cancer also in 2018. You have to cherish the best times in life with him and keep that strong will if seizing the moment that your dads drummed into you the best you can. Words are easier than actions, and of course it’s easier said than done. But the things you are doing to cope are baby steps. Think how proud he’s be if you for fighting each day like he has too. He will get through this,he will keep
Pedalling and your going to pedal all the way home with him. He’s got this, you’ve got this!!! I really relate
To you in this Tom. But everyone of us is so very proud of what your doing to become a replica of strength the same as your dad. Bless you brother! Stay strong, ash ❤❤🤞👊

Tom... please take this from a 43 year old having been through a lot of death in the family. Don't try and be happy and just allow your self to hurt and be sad as you have every right to be hurting hard with all you are going through at the moment! In fact the best thing you can do is let your body feel all the emotion. Think of it has you are a sponge and the pain is water you're holding in the sponge... all that water has to come out so you can ring the sponge fast of slow, but just know it all has to come out for you to feel better. Sit and cry your heart out when you feel you need too. We know you like to be happy and postive but please Tom its ok to hurt and be in pain. It's all ok in time. Take care mate.

Wish I could just give you a hug. The last year's been a whirlwind for me too with losing two members of my family within a couple weeks of each other and I can say, without a doubt, that you're absolutely right that you need to keep moving forward and in the words of a wise man "Get your shit together."! Things will get better for you, just give it time.

Going through some shit too but nothing like you're going through, so to hear your positivity, despite everything you're going through, really helps. Much love.

I completely understand that life can be crappy. A few years ago my husband lost his biological father on Easter, then 3 months later we lost his grandpa to cancer. Plus same time around his father's funeral my grandfather passed due to self-infliction. Later that year we got into a car wreck where we almost died. That year was the worst year that I have ever had to deal with. I am so grateful for all of the support from friends and family to keep us up and moving forward. Sending love to you and your family

Those small wins turn into big things tom. I'll admit the pain never truly stops I lost my uncle 2 years ago who was like a father to me and even now I still burst into tears sometimes thinking about him. But the pain dulls with the happy memories and you've got more than enough of them I'm sure and you have a wonderful family and friends around you. And us crazy lot too lol. Just take it like you say 1 step at a time then you can run again.

I was in your position last year Tom! My father in law had prostate cancer and it took a huge toll on my family. But because we managed to catch it early on, we did all the possible treatment and just before Christmas, we got the news that he is now cancer-free! Keep your head up and we gotchu!

For us christians, moments like these are the ones that make you grow. God never promised problems would stop, he only promised to be with us every step of the way. No one knows why God does things the way he does but the fact is that its for the good of us despite us thinking the opposite (Jeremiah 29:11).

Tom, I walked with both my nan and grandad's coffin. It solidafied my feeling and helped me get over losing them. They sorted out the order of who stood where so it was balanced. Being shorter shouldn't stop you. You will regret it. I know because my brother didn't and still regrets it 5 yrs later.

Tom, I know you may think that just because you're a idol for so bmany people (including me) I just want to say that I have been in your position but being the one positive person at work with a whole lot of shit going on behind the scenes. Having to keep everything to together even though we'd think its not..... YOU ARE NOT ALONE! You
Have to remember sometimes it's okay for us to cry and be upset. It keeps us down to earth and in some cases grounds us from the world around. If I saw you now I'd give you a hug and tell you we are all behind you no matter what because we are and thats what you need right now! Much love. We are always right here and always will be

You are allowed to be sad. You will be ok it's normal to feel overwhelmed. Yes prostate cancer very curable slow growing but ok to be scared mainly because you feel no control over it . Just support him. It's awful to see our parents in pain and we feel helpless.Hugs to you. My husband lost his dad his older brother and a younger brother within 12 months. He acts like a touch guy felt guilty feeling down. He didn't probably grieve so things kept popping up for 5 years went through a drinking period because he didnt deal with it hes ok now.

Damn Tom, you really are getting dealt a shit hand. My heart breaks for you. Cancer is the biggest C**t of all but if anyone can fight it, it's got to be Ken.
Like you said Tom, you've got to take the little wins. Positives from each day. You've just had some awful things happen in your life and it's knocked you. Take the wins and start building yourself back up. You'll get to where you need to be and stronger for it.
Sending love and faith to you all 🫶🫶🫶
