I was just gifted a bottle of Mr. Black, and as soon as I got home went on RUclips and searched “Mr. Black whiskey cocktails” and this video came up first in my results. Since I’m already a subscriber, I was happy to see it.
For stirred drinks you typically want to stir until the sides get a little frosty. It is dependent on the size of your ice used but generally 15 - 20 count range. This is to get the ideal temperature with the correct dilution.
I tried that Mr Black Old Fashioned when it first launched as their go to cocktail. But the Orange bitters, rye, and mr black was missing things. I used Angostura bitters, and it worked nicely. I will have to try the black walnut bitters. The 2nd drink sounds like it could also go in one of those smaller, cermic/metal mugs. Topp it with some Whipped cream and use either cinnamon or nutmeg of the top. Nice! thanks!
Mr. Black is delicious it was my go to coffee liqueur during the initial months of pandemic and it’s just delicious on the rocks or a espresso martini. I haven’t used it on bourbon maybe I should do a an old fashioned.
I love the stuff but wow Mr. Black is getting really aggressive with their RUclips corporate shilling. They’ve already made their way through all of the cocktail RUclipsrs and I guess are moving in on the WhiskeyTube scene 🙄

Finally got my Mr Black today. I made the Kentucky Cold Brew and Cream. Another winner so good. Chad nailed it with the Coffee Ice Cream note. 😎😎😎😎
