At the risk of sounding like a maniac… I could watch a shirtless gymnast or athlete for hours. Not for weird reasons, it’s just super interesting watching all the different muscle groups activate. As they do a certain movement you can see the arms, then shoulders, then back… etc. It’s so cool seeing the human anatomy in action doing cool stuff. I never really noticed that before now.. I might look at some calisthenics videos or something and see what that’s like. It’s crazy to me that we have hundreds of muscle groups and it takes so many different muscles to do seemingly simple movements and complex movements can use hundreds of muscles at once.

true, you can build an impressive physique with just pushups. in prison the only thing inmates have is time and enough space to do pushups and they look legit swole from doing only pushups and burpees.
I wish I can be an athlete. I tried back in high school but failed miserably plus the mockimg from teachers. Always have a great respect for athletes especially in World Champion games, Commonwealth and Olympic.
@@rubiirae Ive actually been quite regimented with stretching (especially after a workout) but it never really helped me as much as getting close to my dads flexibility, that and many injuries over the years. But I am a very atrong advocate for stretching, it has reduced the impact of my injuries.
@@rubiirae People who are genetically flexible tend to stretch more and people who aren't, vice versa. When something is easy for you it gives you more motivation.

lacrosse girl same here but the only equipment I have at home, are gymnastic rings what would you recommend training for starters I prefer to do circuit training just because gymnast do circuit training
@@Darri_VasquezRNP i'm a gymnast, and i would say not only to gain body muscle in your stomach, legs, and arms, but also to stretch A LOT. i promise you will probably hate it, but the progression is crazy when you get flexible and muscular, having arm muscle is very important for on bars, and floor you need everything, valut is all power and endurance, beam is a little bit of everything considering what you are doing. ALSO, cardio is a must!!!! and i'll tell you it's not east but as a level 8 gymnast i would definitely recommend it! :) i hope this helps you

It’s important that we have shoulder flexibility and legs flexibility expecismly for floor, the horse and basically any other event. Back flexibility is also important because it keeps you from having injuries and also makes your tumbling look nicer and « aesthetically » pleasing to the judges.

@@robertm6597 you wear masks during exercise to increase stamina, the same way you close your mouth and breathe through your nose while you train for endurance running. :) please use your brain and do more research. Here is a snippet if you are lazy to do even that "recent researches have indicated that wearing face mask during conducting a normal exercise does not enhance athletic performance. Instead, it helps strengthening the respiratory musculature by making it work harder, resulting in improved endurance capacity in well-trained athletes." That's why Nike and reebok have had their own branded Masks since so many years on their website
i dont think some people understand how hard calisthenics really are. I have been lifting and doing cardio for about a year now and I tried calisthenics once and I struggled so much.

Gymnast's body is better than bodybuilder's, because it's more proportional and aesthetic
Bcs body building's muscle is just for show while gymnast really need to fully use those muscle to do those moves.
