You should try not to use the adjustment foot under the projector as it will not give you a true level image giving you blur at the top or bottom. Always start on a level surface and raise or lower the projector via shelf or mount. This will help
Lot's of issues with the "control" factor with this review, but other's have pointed that out already. One HUGE thing to consider, that I don't believe was mentioned in the video, is how well the companies that makes these back their product and how responsive they are. Vankyo is well known in the industry as having extremely good customer service.....the other two, well, who knows? I'm going with Vankyo hands down between these three. Build quality is better and you cannot discount the great reputation Vankyo has in the industry!
I am late to this party, but I would be interested to know if your Abox unit, suffers from the same issue I have. When in full 16:9, when white is on the screen, there are yellowish coloured bands on the top and bottom. So when watching hockey, the white ice looks yellowish at the top and bottom, or when looking a a white page of a document in say MS Word or a website. Again, it is 2 yellowish line/bands going across the top and bottom.
Higher lumens is going to be the cause of more heat, and higher energy consumption. By rudimentary understanding is that all forms of energy gives off heat, and heat (except in heating devices where heat is the intended energy) is always energy lost (the inevitable byproduct). Now obviously efficiency is a concern at some point, but attempting to contrast this between three projectors without noting the significance is short sighted. This video mentioned these things, but didn't really connect those dots. Of course a brighter projector uses more power and gives off more heat. Are we expecting leaps and bounds of bulb efficiency difference in these 3 projectors? The highlight of the video was the relevance of comparison in the price point of projector I am wanting to buy, and displaying the three picture qualities at the same time on your average white wall. Proper field testing for a guy like me, who likes good bang for buck but refuses to become a videophile who dumps money into a new projector every year just to mess around.
Bro, if someone does not want to pay a lot in the light consume, how can I pick a 1080 p projector that does not consume a lot of light??? Thank you. Sorry for my english.
LED lamps hardly put off any heat compared to the old bulb lamps I used 2005-2012. I had to change lamps every 6 mos and they raised the temp in the room by 10 f. I bought a Vankyo V600 in 2019 and I love it. Thinking about getting the Vankyo V630W for $260
The projectors give the same projector size at the same distance? From the video ABOX seems a little bigger, BOMAKER a little smaller and VANKYO in the middle.
How will the vankyo compare vs the benq th685 or the optoma hd39hdr which one would you pick. Also would any of those work with an alr screen? Thanks in advance greetings from Panama
If it helps, I've owned their cousins, the V620 and the TH585 for a little bit. The biggest difference was that the BenQ was significantly brighter (you can watch with the lights on) and was sharper at the edges. The Vankyo was no slouch though, offering good image quality overall for the price and it allows you to reduce the image size by up to 25% (helps you fit the image on the wall, etc.). So... you decide if the price difference is worth it to you. The V630, of course, also has horizontal keystoning.
Luis pls forget all non-branded options, in dark room, parallel to wall / canvas they are nice, but if you must angle it or move it, disaster. Tried returned. Not sharp letterings, cannot see in PC Manager the name of the folders??!! ONLY for movie ok but not crisp clear image, and tuning or adjusting is so muccccch hussle!!!
@@quincymb8576 I bought the parrot 1 and just terrible on movies, the picture judder was horrendous. I tried it on all formats including blurays and the result was the same, terrible picture judder. I bought it from amazon but returned it after trying various fixes, I got the same replacement which had the same issues. I finally bought the TOPTRO Projector,Upgraded 7000 Lumens Native 1920x1080P Full HD Video Projector Support 4K Video projector which is excellent. It has x, y picture adjustments and 50 percent reduced zoom facility. I highly recommend this projector. Good luck..
Both are good, it comes down to if which design you like more and if you will move the projector around. If you will bring your projector to other places (i.e., friend's home, office, and etc.), the vankyo comes with a carrying bag. If you want something that looks more "high tech", bomaker appeal to that more
Other reviewer said the V630 only has 25-30Hz refresh rate. Did you notice about that? I'm not sure if they upgrade the refresh rate to 60Hz yet. Could you compare them in terms of the refresh rate? thanks!!!
I haven't really notice that refresh rate during my usage so far, given that I mainly use the projectors for videos. Perhaps we can make another video on this comparison in the near future.
@@ucway Thanks for replying. For 30Hz refresh rate, when you are connecting the laptop to the projector and moving your mouse, you will see the cursor on the projector will not respond as fast as your laptop, which is pain for the gamer. Although the lag is not noticable for videos, I'd say the higher refresh rate the batter. :-)
This projector gets the job done pretty well. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxS9P8zTOcmQg-hH0QeUi3dspOLyYgQ6dH Bear in mind it's a mini projector but all things considered the picture quality is pretty good. The attached photo is of the projector projecting onto my white closet doors. I still have not messed with the settings but I can't wait for our first family movie night on a larger scale. If you have issues with volume not working with your firestick, go into volume settings and you will find your solution there.
This is NOT a good way to compare visual brightness between projectors, you have to use a picture with Al colors AND. A grayscale in it ( preferable a picture of a person in it to, because skin tones are very revealing of color casts) this guy uses a low contrast picture with a dominant blue cast, since LED's by nature has a tendency to emit in the blue spectrum ( remember the first led only was emitting blue?) And only recently by " doping" the led with different diyes they are getting wighter ,this comparison only tells that a certain projector gives a more dominant blue than another....best way to checks visual brightness is with a " neutral gray card, 18 percent gray) available in a good photo store, then check with the " Macbeth color checker" for color rendition, THAT'S HOW TO DO IT.

Yes. I have tried everything. It starts to go away a bit when you put the projector on cool temp setting, but it it still visible.

Hello, in your opinion, which one is better for home? Vankyo V630 or Vivibright F40 ?
I don't have Vivibright F40, but on paper, Vankyo has higher lumens but Vivibright has a higher contrast ratio
Where is the spare fuse located?
Does it have an option to make the screen bigger? because my room is not so big and I want to get 150 inches is there some way I can do this?
Unfortunately, not really

is the V630w even better? or is the only difference wifi
On paper, seems like V630w has higher lumen and contrast ratio. As of early December 2020, the price seems to be better too... lol

any specifics you want to talk about?
Bomaker should be ahead of van. The carry bag should not even be consider here. All of them are portable regardless of the bag though.
