In this episode i change the front drive axles CV axles on my 2010 toyota corolla bit it's the exact same procedure on other corolla from 1998 to 2011
Also this procedure is a basic to do this job in any toyota mitsubishi nissan Honda Acura model as long as they front wheel drive I personally own those brands and are pretty much the same

Very good video, thank you very much, for everyone that does this job, you’ll need a 12 point 30mm socket for the spindle nut and the the 3 bolts underneath are 17mm, I found that hammering a pry bar was much easier than using a chisel, this video was was extremely helpful
Thanks for the comment with good info
Thanks!!! Looks easy thank good for you tube.
Watched the video... Muted. Excellent. To the point.
Nice! Thanks for posting this! Going to be doing my 09's halfshafts soon and it looks like it will be one of the easier ones. I'm really liking this Toyota, it's been very reliable for many years, the water pump replacement was very easy too; took like 15 minutes. Good to know at least one of the manufacturers still has real engineers on staff do design these things.
Yup mine have 145k and just need axle radfan I have a video about that water pump also have a video in this channel brake pads and soon lower control arms and trans mount also in gone do a video but in Spanish I might do those also in English
I have to do the cv axels then my water pump is next glad to know the water pump is easier to do 😊
Thanks brotha...really informative video. I’m getting ready to replace them on my daughter’s Corolla. Love the tip of dropping those bottom 3 bolts to simplify removal/replacement of the half shaft.
Thanks for watching and glad to help .
Dev JB Gonna get at it next weekend. Thanks for the tip!!
Very good video, thank you very much, God bless you and your family!
Thanks you too
Excellent job sir!
Glad i can help.
stay safe and God bless you and your love ones
Excellent video! Thank you for showing how to do this procedure. I have a 2010 Toyota Corolla S that I need to replace both CV axles. In your opinion, which brand or from which store is the best aftermarket replacement CV Axles? Toyota dealer is too expensive. Thanks, in advance, for your response.
Hi the is for watching the ones I used in the video they are from pepboys and working awsome that's my dd and has been over a year all good and they have lifetime warranty
@@ELDIESTRODIY Thank you. Do you remember the brand name? Are they new or remanufactured? Thanks again!
@@myutube1960 Speaking of drive shafts, I would not recommend using remanufactured shafts. And always change the shaft seals.
Gracias hombre

Do u need alignment after this job
After torque nut to 160Ft*Lbs, it should be pounce by chisel on its crown area into shaft’s notch, but there was not shown on video.
And tools did you use to remove the axel from the left side? Is it okey to used crow bar and remove it side to side? Thank you.
Hi yall. I can only change the oil, brakes, rotors, and sway bar bushing.. Do you guys think i can change my axle or is this too advanced for me?
What's the torque for the CV axle? 160?
The one i say on the video not remeber atm
He said 159
Is the torque wrench absolutely necessary?
Yeah you can rent 1 at pepboys or autozone
Yes, the torque wrench is a very important tool that influences the life and safety of vehicle bolts
Lol wat size is the CV joint bolt
32mm 12 point 6 point not work
Stop using wd 40 use carburetor cleaner it frees up rust and it dries clean under. Degrease parts and smells good. And throw .a flame around it you got a blow torch trust me chiko
No need to remove the castle nut on the outer tie rod?
I have the same question. Sure looks like he left it attached
@@gcd123 I removed the nut off of mine. I am not that good.
What the name of this part?
No vuelvo a pagar por el cambio de puente de eje. Eso es más fácil q cambiar el aceite de motor
😎
Did you remove the tire rod?
Great job, but Horrible music
You are spending and not playing vidio
Spray I don't understand you
