I really did enjoy this video! This, to me, is exactly what a model railway should be! So much imagination has gone into it. It's your imaginary world, and a great way to unwind. Great respect from a fellow modeller. Kind regards from Dave Barnes, Southend on sea. UK.
Thank you Andrew Yes I`ll have to get the Missus to dial me back up to scale again. It`s much easier to use the keyboard at 1 : 1 scale All the best Gormo
Hi Gormo. Nice tour of the layout. The Michael Portillo diorama is a really nice touch. Great work on the grassy bank behind the station. Great attention to detail and I liked the echo while looking at the inside of the market cross.
Now that's what you call imaginative, and really marvellously done t o boot. Especially appreciate the hollow sound effect of the narration in the market -- that is true attention to detail.
That is a cracking video Gormo. like the additional details such as the views through the windows. Very effective. Then there's your voice change when in the market building. Nice touch that, the echo. Well done Gormo. Keep 'em coming.
G`day Jim and thanks for your comments The echo was achieved by adding reverb to my voice sound track using Audacity sound editing program. All the best Gormo
Wow, your work is incredible! Hey, I have a question' Would you happen to know what scale in model railroading is equivalent to 1/25 scale model cars? Thank you so much!
G`day Jimmy, Thanks for your comment. This info from Train World should answer your inquiry Quote........G Scale (1:24) is the largest commercially available scale in the industry. Because of their size, these trains are perfect for outdoor garden railroads and large indoor displays. Popular manufacturers of G scale trains and accesssories include LGB, Piko, MTH, and Bachmann. Cheers Gormo
