Amazing video just got the mount because of it! Also would like to note if you’re like me and did the necrolord assault without know about this mount first, if it’s the same week you can get a guildie who’s not done who you can get in their phase and get the vehicle and get the rings! That just saved me weeks!

I was doing this on the a Paladin, running around in tank spec for silver ring. My friend did this on a druid and she had a much easier time looking for the cache. Oh, the key is not guarantee drop. It dropped for me on the 2nd cache after 4 hour of running around that hellhole. The gromit definitely works for me. With the traverse through the Rift phase, you can use the Cypher of Relocation as soon as you get into Beastwarrens and you can skip that trip altogether.
You DO NOT have to farm the Maldraxxi Defectors to get the key. They have a very high drop chance from mobs in House of Chosen. I did that world quest yesterday on all of my alts, and they all got the mob drop key.

For the stone ring, I got one of the quartered ring last week during the necro assault, but the right quest wasn't up. Do I need to drop this quartered ring and start all over again? If not can I get the other quartered ring now, the one you find on the floor?

A very concise and well explained video thank you! Got unlucky with the Stone Ring, quest didn't drop from the chest but 3/5 Keys so far just hoping that the chests tomorrow drop the defence map and I should be good to go.
Glad it helped and yah its a bit unfortunate that the drop rate is so low but good thing the chests do respawn daily. Unless they changed that from PTR as well...
@@Rustycobra I'm pretty sure the chests respawn in around 15 minutes. I'm fairly certain I had looted all the chests, gotten the quest out of the last one I looted, and in going back to destroy the pillars, the first one I opened had respawned and had a fragment in it.
@@AmuzedWatcher I do hope that is the case because that would be so much better but just from my own experience and some Wowhead comments they seemed to reset daily. Going to check next time a necro assault shows up and pin a comment
So the stone ring is the only thing you need the Maldraxxus assault for? I can start it this week and finish it another time if I want?

I have accidentally thrown away the Seal Breaker Keys, I wasn't able to restore them on the Item Restoration Page, and can't seem to loot them again from Ylva, chests, or the Maldraxxi Elite. Is there a way to get the keys back?

For the stone ring make sure you complete the quest to unlock the centurion AND THEN loot the chests. If you open them all first you can miss out on looting the map for the second quest for the rest of the assault
anyone have any suggestions if there are no more chests on top of perdition hold and I didn't get the defensive map?
Do you need to be in the rift phase that whole time you do all of this?

Great guide. Just want to say that you dont have to farm the maldraxxian defectors. You can simply go and loot the helegard supply chests. I killed like 300+ defectors without the key droping, than a druid just joined my group and said go loot some chests. It worked and we didnt have to farm the defector key. Maybe its a help for you guys too like it was for me.
Yep you can farm the chests. Its funny the keys can also drop from mobs in Maldraxxus

You don’t have to wait for the certain quest during necrolord assault. I used a Toy item called Borr-Geth’s Fiery Brimestone. I used it after I used grappling hook to get to the ledge up next to where the treasure is. Then I deployed a gobbling gloder and floated down to the chest. Yw
how do you get the grappling hook?
Does anyone know if putting a plan together quest has to be up for the ground stone ring as I only have the one from the chest and it has not given me the quest as it's not up this time but went round looking for the ground one and no sign of it driving me crazy ? I have all the other rings aswell just stone one I need to collect but having troubles finding the floor one and I have gromit up he's not shouting out for it

Correct the stone ring is only available during a necrolord assault
I have opened so many chests and still not gotten the piece for the quest after completing the one to unlock the robot for the pylons. AND I cannot seem to get that construct to spawn. I even tried turning war mode off!
It does spawn just gotta wait and it only spawns once you have at leats one of the quartered ancient rings. I had 3 spawn while I was making the video
hello there i have gathered all rings but i dont see the hand in the cave
Lost Silver Ring: I found all the keys, opened the chest, but at some point, I have misplaced the silver ring. The chest is gone now, so I opened it for sure, but the ring is lost, and it is not in my restorable items list. Handynotes also says I do not have it. Did I ever have it? Don't remember. But what do I do now??
I got a key but idk which source it came from, i cant remember, is there a way to tell?

I got 4 Nilganihmath Rings and 3 Quartered Ancient Rings. Only thing i miss for mount is Defense Map... Ive lootet all chests, including two hidden on top of highest towers where you can reach only with jumping quest Goliath and no map... does it mean i have to wait 4 weeks for another try on Defense map or does this chests respawn at some point?:(
ok, I got answer myself. After daily server quest restarts chests were there again and i got my map on 2nd try this time!:)
@@KukizWoW Yep chests reset daily although I think Blizzard should prob just buff the drop rate of the item!

I've been trying to find Maw Mad Contruct and that Quartered ring from the ground (even with Gromit) for the whole 1st necro assault and now for the 2nd and... nothing... it annoys me so much... is it possible that I'm doing something wrong?
They only start spawning once you have at least one of the other quartered ancient rings. Do you have one? If you do just gotta keep searching.
@@Rustycobra I have two quartered rings, maw mad and the one from the ground are two only left for me to find
@@Scalderr Then you are doing nothing wrong. Just pay attention to your chat box and make a target macro for the Maw Mad Construct and just keep running around with your gromit and you'll eventually find the other one
After months i couldn't get the quest Putting a plan together. Took me so long that i wasn't even hype when I finally got the mount 😂
If you turned in a ring when someone else had the hand up, are you screwed? The hand isn't there for me.

You don’t “start” it just gotta collect the rings. Assuming you’ve done the intro quests to Korthia
I was BARELY able to solo Torglluun as a 226 BM Hunter. XD He has a frontal that hits HARD.
If you don't have a rift key and have shit luck like I do, I believe there is also a quest available during the Night Fae assault that allows you to go in and out of the rift phase indefinitely. Don't know the exact name of it but I remember that being a thing. Something to try if you're having a hard time with that. :)
They actually changed that from PTR can no longer kill the rare that way sadly =/

You're doing nothing wrong unfortunately the quest selection seems to be random so just gotta wait for the quest to be up. It sucks but it is what it is

Its just a fairly high drop chance from the mawsworn chaches. They also reset daily if you run out
