    Not to be crude, but I thought the NoFap movement was wishful thinking before I found God. After I asked for mercy and strength, I'm noticing it's much easier to take control of where my thoughts (and eyes) wander.

    As a woman raised in America I became Christian on my own but never saw or new what chastity was until I became Catholic orthodox when I heard of Mary the Mother of God and being a mother myself at this point I can appreciate more fully the good traits I had always tried to suppress it’s ok to be beautiful in this way God made me a woman

      He had it right, youre incorrect, Dostoyevsky was a big christian in his later life, just read Crime and Punishment

      ​@@cagiesttitan1217 As far as I know, 'If God is dead, everything is permitted' is a direct quote from The Brothers Karamazov of Dostoevsky. But that doesn't mean that it is the idea he defended, he actually proceeds to dismantle it in his novel.
