Hi Mariana I'm Hugue from Brussels and I got my.pension recently. I've decided to move to.Panama basically for fiscal.reasons as the hungry Belgian Taxman shaves my.pension y 500 € and I can't have that. But also in the last year I watched all kinds of vlogs by people who made the move already and I like everything I see like the easy to get Pensionado visa, the jubilao discounts that go with it, the coffee I'm a if coffee drinker and i know that Panama has a very fertile soil being volcanic. So I'll come in August for about a .month first in Boquete to enjoy the coffee where it grows then I'll go to Bocas del Toro to enjoy the beaches. I believe that having been expat in many countries

I truly hope that [with the use of the U.S. dollar] U.S. Americans that become long term guests/residents of Panama respect its people, culture, food, traditions and language enough to care to learn it fluently instead of expecting natives to cater to us. U.S. Americans collectively and unanimously are primarily the least bilingual in the world and can barely speak the English language properly. I truly hope that the kindness of people in other countries does not get abused and that they stay away from the toxic U.S. American way of life and retain their own identies. Just last week, we helped 5 people find beach houses that were all less than $600 a month. One of the houses was a furnished 1 bedroom for $400 a month! It pays to get the Complete Panama Relocation Guide panamarelocationtours.com/guide

What a wonderful story and adventure you are living! A jaguar! Giant anteater! How bad are the mosquitos? Poisonous snakes? Humidity? Scorpions in the woodpile? Do you get good steady breezes? Do you need a/c? Did your dog fly down with you?

Craigslist panama has some listings but most beach rentals are never advertised. You find then by being in Panama and talking to people.

Also, he might be from Indiana, but she is not. I’ll guess New Yawk.

Medical care is one of the reasons we chose this area. There are 4 large hospitals and several small ones within 1/2 hour of the house. The closest one is about 15 minutes away. In some parts of Panama a hospital is an hour and a half away.
