- We've arrived in BORACAY and we're so excited to share our first impressions of the most beautiful island in the world!
The island was shut down in 2018 for 6 months for rehabilitation and 4 years later we heard theres still some construction work ongoing. So we wanted to see if this island was the paradise it's made out to be or is it just another over hyped island?

About Us
We're Field of Visions (Nadia, Irfan and Baby Zakariya). In March 2022 we packed our things in the UK and set out on a mission to prove everyone wrong - your travelling days are not over when you start a family.
So when Zakariya was 5 months old, we set out on an adventure around the world.

Big mistake for many non-Filipinos... I even heard someone complaining that sinigang is too sour, of course he ate it without rice lol

Has to be the most beautiful island in the world!!!
For me i think its Palawan. A lot more beautiful places to go like Coron, El Nido, Puerto Princesa, Balabac.
Boracay has to be included in all the world's list of most beautiful places! I'm pretty sure there are other beach destinations that are more breathtaking but Boracay has a charm of its own - one that can hardly be explained by words but your spirit just knows.
I will never get tired of coming back to Boracay on a monthly basis if I have the means.

i was in savoy last year.. although its far from the main beach it has its own beach i hope they fully developed their beach..

Halo halo ir means mix mix you have to mix it well before you eat it to make it delicious taste.Eating Mang INASAL ask for chicken oil and spread it to your rice and dip your chicken to soy sauce with calamansi & chili . You can also ask for sinigang soup. It taste sour but delicious

In Mang Inasal the mixture of soy sauce and calamansi serves as your dip for the chicken while the chicken oil (yellow one can't see it in your vlog is the one you mix with the rice to make tastier and enticing to eat).

chicken is dipped into the soy sauce (not put into the rice although you can jf you really want to) the chicken oil provided to you is the one you put on the rice, if you weren't given one, then you can ask the waiters for some :)

Boracay was actually Conde Nast Readers Choice Best Island in Asia for 2022. (It was Siargao in 2021). And Boracay is also included in TIME Magazine's 'World's Greatest Places of 2022'.
I've been to Boracay back when it wasn't that developed yet (about 20+ years ago). And even at that time, that green algae was already there. So i don't think that's due to pollution. Though maybe it's exacerbated by it. :)

Some hotels in Boracay offer transfers from the pier to the hotel and vice versa. They send a representative to help you with the paper work, payment and the actual transport on their own boat and van. Seems like your hotel should be able to provide it. If you weren't able to avail of it getting into the island, try asking for a transfer when you leave.

An easy way to convert pesos to dollars is to divide pesos by 100 (place decimal place 2 places to the left) then multiply result by two. Gives you $1 = 50 pesos. Adjust calculations more or less for fluctuating current exchange rate! ❤❤❤❤

I usually go there on christmas and new years, new years is so much fun, we usually stay at the Cost Hotel great service and right in front of the beach

All tuktuks or locally called tricycles in Boracay are battery operated. This is part of the rehabilitation program. Zakariyah loves the place... I'm so happy that this lovely family is enjoying. More videos about Boracay please.

mang inasal has a white halo-halo which has a rare bufalo milk in it but some branches dont serve it anymore.

The algae is normal, it comes and goes. I think the best time to avoid that would be to go during Nov-Feb so you guys went at a good time.

I will be coming to Boracay with my 11 month old soon, is the footpath along the beach stroller/pram friendly or is it best to bring a sling carrier?
There are parts in the beach which you and push the pram but not all areas. I would take both stroller and the baby carrier to be sure.
I miss Boracay. May I suggest *Jonah's Fruit Shake* in Station 1 (in front of the Grotto) and order a delicious *Mango Melon* shake that is guaranteed not to disappoint.🤤
I was today years old when I found out that Mang Inasal is halal. Thanks for the info. Haven't not asked them since I'm not Muslim. That's a nice information I had discovered. 🙂

The algae is a seasonal event. It’s not necessarily because the cleaner beach after the shutdown.

The algae is normal, it cause the sand white. It comes around summer months and eventually die and become white sand.
Halo halo (dessert) means mixed so you should have mixed it all together
