I'm so glad you gave my home park a 2nd chance. It can be quite fun for the littles. I missed you guys yet again, lol...but the trade off was that we were at Knotts and Disneyland Resort over the holiday weekend ;)
My little loves Zach Zoomer. I heard Wolverine Wildcat did get a partial retrack this year, but it was still got a back adjustment when I rode it.
You're right about the swans. Do you also remember Tribant being at CP also?
Sidewinder fries in the Waterpark are a staple of the MI Adv diet, lol ;)

We hope you had a great trip to Disneyland and Knotts!! We really loved Michigan’s Adventure this season! We don’t remember Tribant being at Cedar Point, but thank you for letting us know, that’s really neat! Maybe we will run into you at the parks sometime. Thank you for watching!

Last year was really rough but I'm glad this year has improved drastically! Cedar Fair really needs to add a new large scale thrill ride or roller coaster to this park.

Yes! Definitely. We saw a major improvement between this year and last year. We agree that a new ride would be such a great addition to the park. Thanks for watching and sharing! 😁

I love this vid because it shows how Cedar Fair has evolved this great little park. I know Michigan's Adventure gets flack for being "Cedar Point's lesser little brother, but the truth is is that I feel it is getting better each year. It's a very clean park and it looks like they are focusing on families, I think the Camp Snoopy looks great, the food choices look solid - they got Bosco Sticks and a Coasters, I think it's a really nice park.
I enjoy this video because I love all things Michigan and I kind of feel that Cedar Point is going on a slow, but sure rebuild of this park. Build it up slow for the families and once the people who spend their childhood here, build up to the bigger rides. Long Term Storytelling as they would say in WWE. I love this park! Great job y'all

Thank you! And we definitely have a love for Michigan’s Adventure now that we got to experience it during a more normal time. We had a blast! And being from Michigan we love all things Michigan too!

I like Michigan's Adventure overall for what it is. It's kind of like a Cedar Pointe lite. It's not a bad thing, and probably great for families, but I think they could benefit from bringing in some larger rides and attractions. Also, like you mentioned, they could use some additional side experiences and/or shows to better flesh things out. Seems like Cedar Pointe has been doing a good job lately of adding "filler" things like that, which has the added benefit of drawing people away from rides and shortening the long queues.
One thing MIA has locked down for sure is the water park though. It's one of the better water parks around from what I remember.
One other great thing they have going for them is the location. That side of the state is so beautiful compared to Sandusky. I know Cedar Pointe is pushing to make their park a "destination," but you just can't escape the fact that you're in Ohio when you're there (no offense to you Ohioan freaks 😘). But the West side of Michigan seems to be way more beautiful and picturesque in comparison. I could see them easily turning that whole area into something more along the lines of like a destination town like Traverse City. At least it seems like it would be easier to do than turning Sandusky into a destination town. They also have way more room to expand over there compared to The Pointe.
Overall I still like Michigan's Adventure, but that's probably because I'm only 10 and that seems to be their target audience for now. It has been a little while since I've been there last. Your video makes me want to check it out again though! I'll have to ask my mom to see if she'll take me soon!
P.s. They should've totally installed Wicked Twister at MI Adventure! That would've been "Totalllly Wiiiiicked!!!"

Yes we agree. Michigan’s Adventure is not for thrill seeking but instead for a more Waterpark or family attraction experience. The West side of Michigan is absolutely gorgeous! But being on the Cedar Point beach is pretty amazing too. It’s so cool that Cedar Fair can deliver some fun and entertaining park.
We hope you can go to the parks soon! If you ever see us be sure to say hi!!

I guess everyone from Michigan named Marissa must be beautiful based on my experience. Lol.
I assume Ana is Rachael's daughter. Is Marissa single? I'd love to accompany her for CP and other great amusement parks in 2024!! I'm from MI

MA is my home park and I love it for what it is. I am an hour and change closer to MA than CP and that makes a HUGE difference. I can get up in the morning, decide I need to ride a coaster that day, head off to MA, have a full, fun day (and even a beer🍻), head home and be back by 10:30 pm(or earlier, if I leave before close) and only spend about three hours - maybe a little more - drive time. This is a great option for me and a big advantage for MA, plus I genuinely enjoy the park. Any day WITH coasters is better than a day without!! 💙🎢🙃
A trip to CP requires much more planning and usually an overnight/hotel stay - which drastically increases the cost. Six hours overall drive time combined with stomping all over an enormous amusement park is just too much for me to do alone all in one day. Of course CP has better coasters, live entertainment (yay!!!) and more flat rides, but it also costs me much more in time, money (gas!) and planning.
I do feel lucky to be close enough to both places to feel that I can ride a coaster whenever I want (on a weekend of course, still have to do that work thing). And I like to get as much out of my pass as I can! Some live entertainment and another thrill ride (and maybe a corndog cart?) for MA would be awesome (nudges Tony Clark - we can has coaster?!). 😊

We feel so fortunate to be so close to both parks too! It’s a nice problem to have being able to choose which awesome theme park to visit… we definitely are loving Michigan’s Adventure this year! And hopefully we all can convince them to bring in the live entertainment… that would just put it over the edge!

@@Alongfortheridetv Live events or unique events that the other parks would be such a welcome addition, as well as an extended fall season would be so cool. Maybe in the future when things are back in full swing. It's also a bummer the park is closed so early, never been able to get any night rides on any of the coasters.

@@Alongfortheridetv Where do you guys live? Coldwater, MI seems to be the axis (centroid) point between CP and MI Adventure.
