This video really should be sent to that dealer and corporate merely for educational purposes. It should be of no importance this coach is converted, they would probably treat a passenger bus in the same careless manner, AND THAT IS REALLY DISTURBING!!!!!!!!

It’s funny, you talk about both hands on the wheel… What’s really interesting is the steering of those who clearly haven’t been trained to drive buses compared to those that are. The difference is stark.
I’ve fought the battle with those stupid valve stem extenders… they are not meant to be under pressure all the time. I’ve tried different styles, including the cheap amazon ones identical to what he had. One thing I did do with some luck is carefully put a little pipe dope on the female threads before installation, that can help prevent it from leaking down and letting all the air out of your inner dual while the TPMS is attached 24/7. Also bought a handy tool that assists with installation of certain styles of extenders, it’s a special hollow nut driver that can go over the extender. Couple vids of the struggle over on this old bus.
Good advice about keeping your hands apond the wheel and your eyes on the road 😊. When a steer tire blows on a very heavy vehicle it's a wild ride most of the time. Have a most wonderful day
"Pro" Tip: To see if needle gauges move over an extended time (where you might doubt yourself), try marking the starting position with a dry-erase marker (aka whiteboard marker) on the glass. It'll wipe off easily, or at the worst, require a drop or two of glass cleaner to remove. 13:09 - Actually, he seems to know how to handle that bus. I can't really nitpick. 14:37 - Yup, me too! 14:49 - 🤣OMG I wasn't expecting that line! 19:31 - HOLY F🤯 Starship Enterprise doors?! I was watching a recent video on RUclips where an Arkansas State Police officer was attempting to PIT a Prevost bus. In the comments, I mentioned that if the bus had recently been serviced BY Prevost, to simply keep following it - it would break down soon enough. 🤣 I'm glad this Prevost came to you for proper service, it's a beautiful conversion inside and out, and deserves to be just as "beautiful" mechanically. The owner, and other drivers on the road, will be safer now that it's rolling down the road without the braking system relying on crossed fingers and faith.

I believe Prevost should reimburse your cost to BGM for all those air leaks that they couldnt find. At the very least, they should be forced to watch this video and explain to the world why the manufacturer and dealership is unable to support and fix one of their own products.
you have done a outstanding job// to help and save so many G.M.C. Diesels , and bus //thank you-- for a great job ,--and done right for years // keep up the great job .
Didn't understand how quickly the air brakes can be bled down by continuously pumping them, seriously??? It's a huge concern people driving these 40 thousand pound vehicles, yet if this were a "commercial " vehicle, the driver would be subject to having a Commercial license. Yet anyone with a regular license can drive one of these without any proficiency training or tests. Unbelievable.
If I may, I am actually a commercial driver with over 20 years behind the wheel and so many trips around the US I can’t even begin to count. Yes, you are right, pumping the brakes will deplete the air pressure. But what you may not know is that air brake systems have spring based parking brakes. If you lose air pressure, the brakes come on and you don’t move until you build up air pressure. ALL ‘modern’ air systems are like that. I don’t know or remember the exact date when they changed over to spring parking brakes, but it has been at least 40 years now.
I don't mean to add to the bash here, but the amount of add-on crap, meaning flat-screen devices like tablets, monitors, phones, gps, and all that stuff.... talk about driver distractions. I don't know this owner, in fact, he might be one of THE best drivers out there on the roads, but all that stuff concerns me. Not to say that so-called ''professional drivers'' are any better... I can't tell you how many clowns have passed me with the whole interior lit right up with numerous screens and usually including movie playback while the vehicle is in motion.
@ You're right, I guess I went off on a tangent because I found all that stuff distracting. Furthermore, nothing that Scott and Jon find surprises me anymore. Some of this stuff with bearings, brakes, air leaks, suspensions, kingpins, etc. happens in the heavy truck world, too. The sad thing about commercial vehicles is that they are supposed to be held to standards with periodic inspections, while private vehicles only require it at time of sale, if at all. The only thing that does surprise or concern me, is that a lot of the problems that come to BGM, have already been to so-called ''professional'' shops. That should have a lot of people concerned, as the level of professionalism seems to have flat-lined anymore at the big ''professional'' shops out there.
I’m surprised at how little these people know about the vehicle they’re driving. If they had to get a Class B license with an air brake endorsement, it would certainly help educate them.
Hi, regarding the valve stem extensions, I have the exact same problem where the extension is not depressing the valve in the tire stem. As a result the TPMS does not get current pressure information. I would like to know where to obtain proper 1" valve stem extensions.
