The "BIG 3" were basically the 3 biggest and most powerful music companies in Korea, only groups from these companies won important awards and it was difficult for a group from a small company to win, but bts was the exception and they made their company the biggest among all this music companies, they had no privilege
alongside their visuals, discography, lyricism, talents at singing and dancing; these boys are very genuine and humble and THAT is why they have so many fans.
27:45 "they count the baby in the belly?" Yes, that why when the baby is born, their age is automatically 1 y/o. And their age will added on new year, not on their birth's month.
yesss finally someone said it. but i would say its how a person personally wants to count their age, whether they go for counting by year or counting by birthday. like for example, someone can ask me whats my age this year now, i would say im 19 and that is true bcs my birthday is 17 april and its way past that already (this is going by birthday). but what if someone asked me that somewhere in january, if im lazy i would say im 19 (this is going by year), but if i'd like to elaborate, i would say im 18 and turning 19 in april. its 2021 and to us technically jin is 28 bcs his birthday hasnt actually arrived yet and he hasnt *officially* turned 29. so to ppl who counts by birthday, he is still 28 and will turn 29 on Dec 4th but its korea and they +1 to their age. so in BTS contents, BTS will tease him that he is 30 but he will be like 'hey im still 29, my birthday hasnt arrived yet'. just like op said, the moment theyre born, they are 1 year old. for us, after we are born, we'll be 3months old, 5 months old etc, but in korea, they'll be 1year and 3months, 1year and 5months etc instead
Which literally makes no sense coz you're only in your mums belly for 9 months at most! Not a year! Plus if you're born at the end of December (Like Tae) then you'd be two years old after only being in the world for like a day which again, makes no sense whatsoever lmao! 🤣🤦♀️
@@daisygirlmochi768 well, the part of turning another years with the new years also doesn’t make senso to me, but from nine to twelve months is not a lot to be honest… it seems a lot stranger to me that we completely disregard the time spent developing
@@daisygirlmochi768 i also think like that since baby in stomach is 9 month. But idk why korean count it as 1 year after they get born. But they indeed count baby age since in the womb. And their age will be added every new year, not on their birthday month. Make sense or non sense, that is korean tradition rules to count their age, it kinda be rude if we judge their own tradition n rules with said "that make no sense" n laugh it coz is their culture that applied for their own people n in their own country Every country has their own culture, tradition n rules, we need to respect it
SUGA is a definition of true artist. He is such a genius producer and songwriter, who likes to experiment with music, that's why he is so versatile. K-media named him Hand of Midas, Unrivaled producer, King of the music industry. He makes number one hits in absolutely different genres, he created music in r&b, pop, alternative rock, hip hop, pop rock. He said he is working on acoustic songs these days. He is not afraid to try new things, like singing or guitar and he is thinking to learn how to play drums as well. He is an all-rounded musician and since the beginning of his career has piano, keyboard, synthesizer credits across many songs, which are well-known and loved by fans. I'm sure some day in the future we will see his name credited for guitar too. The amount of love he has for music is on another level. He even has a song, which is dedicated to music and it is called "First love"
@@selg6618 You don't have to make everything into ot7. The comment is focused on Yoongi as Yoongi is the most musically involved and inclined and the most passionate when it comes to music. All the members do contribute in music and loves music but Yoongi has special and deep relationship with music. Also, he really is versatile and a true musician as he can produce and make songs in "different" genres and had already proven himself as all songs he produce for other artists becomes smash hits and even competes with BTS Dynamite (example, eight) his skills as a soloist and producer for other artists is outstanding.
Whole SUGA's existence revolves around music. He has been rapping and producing since 13 years old. When he had multiple part-time jobs he was working at record studio and was giving MIDI lessons. He was playing piano since very young age. When they've been asked what they would do without BTS and other members give answers about different jobs, SUGA is always consistent about his answer and says that he would be producer and songwriter even without BTS. Of course he has many different interests like electronics and music equipment, architecture and interior design, painting, ecomonics, psychology and psychoanalysis, piano, guitar, basketball. But his biggest passion is and always will be music. As Jin said "our SUGA, he’s a friend who has an immense passion for music. To the point i wonder if he didn’t become a singer or songwriter/producer, what would he be? Everything surrounding him -hobbies, personal life - is all tuned around music. He’s someone that makes me think: “he looks amazing as a singer, as someone who makes songs.”
Suga is such a strong and inspiring human being. He went through so many hardships, but never gave up and he is in music industry for right purposes. He started making music to bring people hope and help them to get through their darkest times. And his music really saved many lives, including mine. He always wants to help people and not only through his music - he participates in a lot of charity projects, he is always the most vocal about issues in our society and about mental health, he even said he is studying psychoanalysis as he wants to get a license to professionaly help people

3:09 it was more about underground rappers thinking suga & rm were sellouts for moving from being underground to being part of an idol group, and in their eyes idol groups were usually manufactured didn't have a say in their music, which all was of course incorrect for bts
@@taequilasilver7183 yes but that was more additional to others already thinking badly of them, i don't think they would have gone that hard about make up etc if namgi hadn't been underground before or if they didn’t label themselves as rappers in an idol group
SUGA was already an established producer before joining BTS. Right now he is respected producer, who won many awards and worked with many artists. One of the songs which he produced for other artist even made it on Top 100 Songs of the Decade. He is also the most credited as producer out of all BTS members. However he is not only genius producer, but genius songwriter as well. He was the first member of BTS who became full member of KOMCA, he is credited as songwriter and composer in 124 songs, all members agree that SUGA is musical backbone of BTS. For example, J-Hope said "SUGA offers great strength musically. Without him, the center of BTS’ music would crumble away". But what is mostly important is that lyrics he writes are very relatable and deep, they helped many people. His music is very introspective but it makes listeners reflect on their own life. His music brings comfort and hope
27:45 with korean age you are born already 1 year old and every new year (calendar year) one year is added, so for example if you turn 20 in 2021 (so you are 19 & 20 this year in international age) you are 21 in korean age the whole year
I can't believe it's 2021 and people are still reacting to this intro vid. It's super outdated. I recommend the one by Ida S. It's more well-rounded (and still somehow shorter). Has better clips and excerpts. And puts more effort into j-hope's section than "some people are turned off by his energy and he's bffs with Suga." It also talks more about the artistic contributions of the vocalists. I definitely recommend that intro. :)
While this one is outdated the only ones I would actually recommend are by xCeleste. Ida S. actually misses quite a bit that IS included in this video so I don't think people should recommend hers anymore than this one. It's honestly on the same level of decency in that they're both lacking. These days when I comment I just direct people to xCeleste, pretty much all of her videos are accurate and highly detailed.
@@bed-bugg agreed, and it’s always better I think for new fans to watch BTS’ original content so that they can make up their own opinion on the guys’ personalities etc
@@bed-bugg does she have a video of an introduction of the members themselves. Like their personalities and stuff. I’ve only seen the one of why BTS is so popular and also their hardships
@@mariemc.4538 I'm not sure she has any. If I might add, while I do enjoy videos by xceleste, I think her videos are rather biased and she mostly highlights the hardships of the group simply to help people understand why the fandom is so strong and why their popularity matters. I actually prefer recommending videos by BTS-gadaursan since they made videos for each member and they only used compiled original contents from the group (from bangtan tv, official documentaries, etc) so people can get to know their personalities better without added narration (which sometimes can be misleading)
Yeah, that would be so cool! Jungkook is not a professional filmmaker or editor, but he put his soul into making his GCFs (which stands for 'Golden Closet Films'). I enjoy watching them a lot! He has currently seven: ruclips.net/video/NgTwJQ2CUqI/видео.html. I recommend watching them in order (starting with GCF in Tokyo and ending with GCF in Helsinki). His first one was taken during a private trip with fellow band mate Jimin during a break (side-note: it's actually the only overseas trip outside of work that JK has ever been on without family), others have been taken during either tour or during overseas photoshoots. Just to give you a little extra information. My favourite ones are his very last one (taken during winter photoshoots in 2019) and his first one (that really shows glimpses of Jimin in his true element; since he didn't know JK would make a GCF after filming during the trip).
Ooh this would be amazing I would love to see why you think! He got into film and did Golden Closet Films. He did little music edits for awhile and still does when he has time. As a film student I think they are super good! He has I think 5 or 6 of them. I think my favorite are the gcf in Helinski or the gcf in Tokyo but they are all amazingv
SUGA and music are inseparable. He is also producing for other artists (he is the only member who does it) and a lot of famous artists want to work with him, as he is known as genius producer
Yoongi (Suga) indeed has a strong connection with music and producing. He has collabed with and produced for a bunch of other artists. Mostly Korean, but he even collabed solo with Halsey which is huge. However, he isn't the only one within BTS who produces for others :) Just wanted to let you know in case you wanted to know! I know there's often a lot of accidental misinformation in this fandom, so it's really easy to miss out on information. So don't feel bad. It's always nice to learn more about BTS. Both RM and J-hope have also produced for others outside of BTS. J-hope produced at least for one artist predebut and RM produced at least 8 times for others. You can find the songs on Google. Maybe it's even more since I last counted. He did recently produce for TXT I think? I believe Yoongi has produced at least six times outside of BTS, but it is definitely possible it's more and that he has done the most producing with outsider artists. Both he and RM are definitely known as 'the' producers of the group. Although I do want to add that a lot of BTS members try their hand at producing within BTS since their debut years. They do an awesome job at it too in their own way (I absolutely love Jungkook's produced songs like 'Film Out' or Magic Shop' or 'Friends' which was produced by JM). To me, it's just so nice to see they are involved within their own songs.
@@vanessaserneels4798 you are confusing songwriters and producers. SUGA is the only member who produces for others and he is credited as producer the most out of all members. RM and J-Hope never produced a song for other artist. Both are credited as songwriters/composers. Film out is produced by back number, UTA. Not by JK, he is credited as composer. However you are right that JK produced BTS' song Magic shop and Jimin produced BTS' song Friends
J-Hope's predebut collab with Jo Kwon is produced by Bang PD. TXT song 0X1=Lovesong is produced by Slow Rabbit. J-Hope is credited as producer in 3 songs - all for them for his mixtape. RM is credited as producer in 10 songs - 3 for BTS and other 7 for his solo songs on Soundcloud
@@vanessaserneels4798 And here you are, spreading misinformation... Please always check out official credits before talking about contribution of the members and don't trust google. The only place where you can trust production credits is psychical album or if the credits were published officially by creator. Producers are listed outside the brackets. None of the members produced song for other artist, except for SUGA, and RM is definitely not known as 'the' producer, he said multiple times that he is not very much into producing and finds it difficult to produce a song. He produced overall 10 amazing songs at this moment - songs for BTS and for himself. And there is nothing wrong with that, he is enjoying songwriting process more. SUGA on another hand was already an established producer before BTS and joined them as producer actually. SUGA is credited as producer in 40-50 songs, wins awards as producer and produces for other artists. And he is the only member who does it. Of course it can change in the future
although i love that you watched an introduction video but i still wish you watched a newer one because the newer ones have so much recent info and all of the members have composed & written so many new solo songs
Like I said in another comment, that's true, but I still think this easy-to - follow video makes for a great introduction for people who are just beginners.
Don't worry if you can't identify the members even after this video, i have really bad memory too, with BTS didn't happen for so long , only a week, but with TXT took me 3 months, i don't know why, so don't worry, early or late you will get it
This one's from 2017 or 18 right? It's relatively old and not many people knew about BTS back then hence why so many views on THIS introduction video. This was the best there was during that time. But there are better ones now. A lot has changed in 4 years. Recent ones and the ones by Xceleste are better (Xceleste is the light in a dark tunnel for all confused and new ARMY😂)
@@noemibernal4882 it is😊😊😊😊 & that's the reason why so many newer people referred to this video. I think this is still a very good introduction to people who had already watched certain amount of BTS contents but not knowing much about their individual identity like Alex, as they have a basic idea of what BTS is, this video adds flavor to their personalities, but not recommend this to who are brand new to BTS as it's somehow misleading as a first impression of them.
@@leegloria2949 it is.. that's the reason why this video is so popular.. but alex is totally new when it comes to backstage BTS. He has only watched the mvs and those do not shed light in any of their personalities that's the reason why I said the updated versions are preferable😊.. but this one was the best intro video from 4 years back. So I have no complains about this at all. 😊
The reason why there's an issue of him being a rapper and an "idol rapper" is because idols aren't exactly seen as musicians in South Korea. They're more of a... well, idol. I think it also ties with the old stereotype that idol music is just manufactured blah blah, cause you know how most idols doesn't make their own music and just perform it. (But honestly for me it's not necessarily a bad thing even if they don't write their own songs. Not everyone can be a good songwriter. Most are great performers though.)
I think this will help a lot in understanding their personalities and you will be quite able to recogonise their facial feature better. I am happy that you are dedicated to understand the storyline perfectly and also gives your opinion on storyline.
Introduction to the 7 members of bts by Ida S is the best introduction video. She did justice to all of them and also her video is the latest. Most old introduction videos lack information on some members and are pretty biased.
i’m glad that you are taking the time to learn more about them apart from just listening to their music and watching their mvs. the boys themselves are amazing guys who prove themselves to be very inspiring people 💜
The 7 members by Ida.S is more precise and truthful on many points, this one gives some stereotypes and false information about the members. But it's a good reaction. I don't know if in the future you will be more interested in the production aspect of BTS, which suits me because it is your passion, or if you took a genuine interest not only in their music and production but also on the members themselves (if this is the case and you want to know more about the members, I recommend you the series Rise of Bangtan on YT which has so far 12 chapters but the following episodes are coming little by little, or xCeleste intro videos which showcase their hardships - uptade 2021 -, an intro to BTS as a whole and even an intro to Army. There is also Crash Course 2020, which reveals a bit of the why of their success and gives indications as to their music). Finally, I prefer that you do not feel forced to take an interest in the group because of the people but really by a real curiosity and genuine desire to get to know them, because the production videos are very satisfying for us Armys who do not necessarily have any knowledge on the subject, so don't feel like you have to do more than you already do. Anyway thank you, looking forward to the next video.
You should definitely check out JKs golden closet films! They’re not super long but it shows his progression and inspiration behind video production! Plus you’ll get some good song recommendations
The "Big 3" are SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and JYP Entertainment. Big Hit was really small at the time so it was a big deal when BTS won artist of the year.
Jungkook and V are so good at filming , V was the visual director of their "BE" album , and jk was the director for life goes on MV and he made a lot of short videos called G.C.F
Park Jimin has no idea how talented and how good looking he was on those times. But now Jimin has grown mature and has built confidence with the help of the other members and the people that truly cares cares for him
I love how each of them have different personality and love language and over the years have grown to recognise and reciprocate each other's love with each other. They really balance each other out.💜💜
Big 3 refers to other main entertainment companies that have idol groups. The Big Three were JYP, SM, and YG. Although Big Hit's (HYBE's) Net worth in stock is now greater than all 3 combined! Before BTS you would never see an idol group outside of the "Big 3" win daesangs (grand prizes). They had too much influence, money, and power. It was a shock to them when BTS started wining them organically through their sheer talent, charisma, and fans.
not sure if the studio names still stand since the video is old and they this year moved to HYBE's new building but before the move RMs studio was named Rkive, we got a glimpse of RMs new studio in his recent vlive live stream :) Also now days all members are members of the KMCA and the rappers are full members (the guide is a few years old).
probably unrelated but, fun fact: There will actually be a tv series that is about BU and it's title is 'Youth'. It's not acted by bts though. I don't know when exactly the airing is, but I am sure it will be this year.
You don't need to read everything out aloud. That way you won't feel like "being an announcer" esp since the texts can be really fast here. And we don't mind you pausing to check things.
Yes! I was going to say the same thing. We can all just read along silently and that way he can listen to the other stuff that’s going on the video at the same time, like background music or what the members are saying, etc. :)
Honestly the "I'm bad at remembering names" is very valid, and I wish you don't get bothered by it. I just found your channel and it doesn't really bother me that you mix up the name sometimes. I used to be same when I was still a baby army
These people are so genuine and respectful. I haven't seen people like them in the industry for a very long time and I am more than glad and grateful I live in the same timeline as them
Suga is really, really sweet and soft-hearted. He's just quiet and introverted, so people often misunderstand. Pro tip: You can always tell whether BTS likes an interview (or the interviewer) by how much Suga talks during the interview.
You said you picked this one cause it has the most views, it has the most views because it is older and probably the first introduction video of them. The newer ones are more updated and more of their achievements. The fanbase count was 14million+ at that time it is at least double that now and growing more and more with every new realease.
I've been busy learning BTS's history for the last 6 months, and one thing I've realized is that you always have to notice when a clip happened on their timeline, because they have changed a lot and gone through quite a journey over 8+ years. Once you get more familiar with them, you begin to recognize certain clips from when they were younger. The clip of Jimin saying he couldn't sing well was from early on, and it's fun to see how the things that were like pipe dreams when they started out became reality over time.
Thank you Alex. BTS's representation is what's inspiring me now to do better. I specially love their graduation speech on 2020.please continue liking/appreciating them. 💜
There's a new introduction video which more updated, "An introduction to the 7 members of BTS (2021 update)" by Ida S. ruclips.net/video/kGRlqyuky2s/видео.html You can watch it at least at your own spare time, but i agree the old one is a good video to get to know them better personally, the updated version is showcasting their professional side more
23:24 lmao when he said "he always looks sad" 😂 , he has a resting face and he says the funniest things with a straight face , he has such a beautiful boxy and unique smile everything about him is unique
In Korea - the day you are born you are 1 year old. Then every new years day you are considered 1 year older. Eg: JK born 1/9/97 was 1yo then on 1/1/98 he was 2 yo in Korean age but still 0yo in International age - so when he says he was 15 - he was actually 13 in international age..... hope that helps??
The big three are the biggest companies producing groups in Korea, and all successful Kpop groups came from them. BTS was the first to not come from one of these companies and make it this big.
I really like how you get to know the members one by one. They make songs with their own stories, so I think the process of understanding themselves is necessary to understand their songs. And as you get to know them, I'm sure you'll find them more interesting and moving. I really enjoyed the reaction video. I'll look forward to your next bts reaction video!
When I started standing them. I had flash card with there names. I did my research and I ended up loving the messages they give in all there music. Their music It help me a lot. But it was hard to recognize and know there names. 💜💜💜
Yeah, when he said that (kind of jokingly), I didn't think it was a bad idea! I don't expect every person to binge BTS clips (although I do enjoy it when people develop an interest in them as creators and people), so some kind of 'cheat sheet' could be useful. People have different ways of learning, so if it would help him, I certainly wouldn't fault him for it!
Oh wow. I was at that New Jersey concert when we made the rainbow. The look on their faces was a moment I will share forever with my daughters. I’m so proud of our boys!!!
Loved your reaction. the only issue I have with the video of "Who is BTS" is that the person did not highlight Jimin's vocal & dancing solo performance of one of his own songs, (i.e. Serendipity), but rather chose a cover song, that BTS covered as a group. Jimin is a main dancer of the group, but this too wasn't listed as part of his profile. The person also left out Jimin's interests/achievements, i.e.: blackbelt in Taekwondo, and other martial arts. Also, while touching on his vocals, there weren't many "examples." I was, however, very happy to hear that you already know that Jimin's vocals are noteworthy. The other person who I feel was short shifted was Jin. He overcame a lot of obstacles having to start from scratch, not having any experience singing or dancing. Jin's vocals are awesome, yet there weren't many examples. He worked EXTREMELY hard to learn how to dance and learning choreography; he would practice while other members slept. The other members' profile give a more well-rounded perspective of who they are. I just see that there is some bias in this particular video of who the members are and it makes me sad. I know this has nothing to do with your reaction, and I'm sorry this has turned into a rant about the video you are reacting to... I love your reactions and look forward to each & every one.
In RM section, the netizens talk about how he can't be rapper and an idol because idol used to be seen as unprofessional artists. People used to think they only work according to their producers and company. So they thought you can't be a professional and talented rapper and be an idol at the same time. This changed thanks go BTS because they succeeded so much.
18:41 yes..BTS always upload a video of them reacting to their own MV for the first time when it got release..even the recent MVs Butter and Permission to dance got BTS reaction video..
yeah, RM went live like 2-3 days ago. But because of the huge time differences, they tend to go live at like 5-6pm in Korea, which is around 4-5am in America (eastern time). So, you have to be really lucky as an American fan to witness when they go live, which they do randomly.
You know now I have a feeling that you will become army because that's every army's story....watching their mv, liking it, watching more, learning members names, knowing their journey and finally entering the fandom.
The “big 3” are actually entertainment companies which manage groups. The big three consists of SM entertainment, YG entertainment and JYP entertainment. Bts are from Bighit entertainment (now Hybe) which was actually a very small and insignificant company about 7-8 years ago, until BTS gained attention and brought Bighit into the major managing business.

6 mins into the video and i gotta admit this is probably one of the best reactions to this intro video. I liked how you paid attention to the subs by pausing and reading them carefully. Honestly! big3 were the biggest entertainment companies in korea, BTS being an unprivileged group that debuted from a very small company was very surprising to many people. also wanted to add that all the members are songwriters, producers and composers.
Yes, they have had conflicts but they also work them out AS A GROUP, no matter who the conflict is between. They have learned to listen and respect each other. We can all thank Bang PD for that 🤗💜💜

the big 3 is the biggest entertainment companies in korea. SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and JYP Entertainment. Its not just one group. Bighit Entertainment (now HYBE) which is BTS company was a really small agency back then. So it was more shocking. Smaller agencies doesnt really get big awards in award shows because of these 3 companies, but BTS broke that. Since they won Artist of the year in 2016, they havent lost that title and its 2021 now.
Some basic information which maybe of help; 1. Early Hip Hop was seperate you had underground rappers and idol rappers, underground rappers thought the idol rappers were lacking and not real rappers and the underground rappers were intimidating etc. So there was a clash. This changed around the time Jay Park (ex Idol) created AOMG and lessened the distance between underground and idol rappers, they have some amazing rappers and the best music producers with that of Gray and Code Kunst. Most recently they even signed Yugyeom (ex Got7) member who is currently doing album promotions. 2. This was a time around the 3 big agencies SM, JYP & YG got most of the attention, smaller groups did not get a look in including BTS, they were considered trash right out the bat. 3. BTS have had conflicts in the group, one conflict like on tour in the clip you saw was of Jin & V in conflict. So like everyone they do tend to clash here and there. 4. The 'Sope Me" is a take off from their labelmates group called 'Homme", Lee Hyun is still a member of Big Hit, does solo work as well as other behind the scenes work, one recently was acting as a manager running after BTS with water etc, was funny and showing people around Big Hit building. 5. The clip of Jhope being a strict dance teacher is a bit misleading back in early BTS, both RM & Jin were not strong dancers, they took a while to learn choreo, so Jin liked to also reinforce the dance moves with other members mostly Jhope or Jimin. 6. Idols are the best pool of people to draw for acting, alot of Kpop singers get into acting in some capacity in Korea. 7. Idols have their own olympics once a year called ISAC (Idol Star Athletic Championships), idol groups both boys and girls come and compete in various physical events, running, wrestling, archery, basketball etc.. 8. It is deeply disrespectful in korea if you do not respect your elders, even in BTS Jin is the eldest and RM is the leader so there is a line between personal and professional that Jin does not use the oldest card and RM respects his position. The maknae's in some groups can get mistreated easily as they are the youngest, in alot of groups especially BTS the maknae's run riot as they are the cutest and most looked after like babies in the group. 9. Alot of kpop groups are now well known on music charts outside korea but this was not the case early days. BTS is the biggest male group known and from my understanding Blackpink is the biggest female group.
They have mainstream rap in Korea but just like in the US, there’s an underground scene as well for people like SoundCloud rappers and things like that where there’s showcases and competitions.
I think the more you watch their "casual content" (content not related to music videos), the more you'll be able to accurately name them because you'll start to recognize a) their facial expressions, b) the little habits they all have, c) their voices and much, much more (even their gait) that is difficult to just pick up from music videos. You'll notice it in their music videos once you know what it is, though.

The "BIG 3" were basically the 3 biggest and most powerful music companies in Korea, only groups from these companies won important awards and it was difficult for a group from a small company to win, but bts was the exception and they made their company the biggest among all this music companies, they had no privilege
and yes, BP is from one of the "BIG 3"
And BTS is the only biggest boy group in the world rt now so proud of thm 💜
Their company was small when they began, but now it might be the biggest company in Korea
big 3 isn't even a thing here in korea anymore.

27:45 "they count the baby in the belly?"
Yes, that why when the baby is born, their age is automatically 1 y/o. And their age will added on new year, not on their birth's month.
yesss finally someone said it. but i would say its how a person personally wants to count their age, whether they go for counting by year or counting by birthday. like for example, someone can ask me whats my age this year now, i would say im 19 and that is true bcs my birthday is 17 april and its way past that already (this is going by birthday). but what if someone asked me that somewhere in january, if im lazy i would say im 19 (this is going by year), but if i'd like to elaborate, i would say im 18 and turning 19 in april.
its 2021 and to us technically jin is 28 bcs his birthday hasnt actually arrived yet and he hasnt *officially* turned 29. so to ppl who counts by birthday, he is still 28 and will turn 29 on Dec 4th but its korea and they +1 to their age. so in BTS contents, BTS will tease him that he is 30 but he will be like 'hey im still 29, my birthday hasnt arrived yet'.
just like op said, the moment theyre born, they are 1 year old. for us, after we are born, we'll be 3months old, 5 months old etc, but in korea, they'll be 1year and 3months, 1year and 5months etc instead
which does make sense because the baby spent like nine months developing...
Make sense or non sense, that is korean tradition rules to count their age, it kinda be rude if we judge their own tradition n rules with said "that make no sense" n laugh it coz is their culture that applied for their own people n in their own country
Every country has their own culture, tradition n rules, we need to respect it
SUGA is a definition of true artist.

YOONGI our music lover boy 🥺💜💞
Suga is such a strong and inspiring human being. He went through so many hardships, but never gave up and he is in music industry for right purposes. He started making music to bring people hope and help them to get through their darkest times. And his music really saved many lives, including mine. He always wants to help people and not only through his music - he participates in a lot of charity projects, he is always the most vocal about issues in our society and about mental health, he even said he is studying psychoanalysis as he wants to get a license to professionaly help people
Yeah, I really wish there was a MV for 'The Last', just so that I could recommend it! But it would probably have been a difficult song to do a MV for.

I think this intro video doesn’t do justice to almost all of the members, so yeah Isa D’s is better (even if it does still miss a few things)
*please do Jungkooks GCF videos he films/edits himself*
Yes, please!
Yesss pleas
@@vanessaserneels4798 If I'm not mistaken he was credited for composing and songwriting on that txt song, not producing

90% of ARMYs : It all started when I just wanna learn their names and the rest is history

Min Suga is a genius musician😊
I've been busy learning BTS's history for the last 6 months, and one thing I've realized is that you always have to notice when a clip happened on their timeline, because they have changed a lot and gone through quite a journey over 8+ years. Once you get more familiar with them, you begin to recognize certain clips from when they were younger. The clip of Jimin saying he couldn't sing well was from early on, and it's fun to see how the things that were like pipe dreams when they started out became reality over time.
The “Big 3” are the top 3 labels of Korea prior to BTS’s huge success. They include SM, JYP, and YG.

I love your reaction out of all the reactiona i've seen in the past...thank you💜❤
You know now I have a feeling that you will become army because that's every army's story....watching their mv, liking it, watching more, learning members names, knowing their journey and finally entering the fandom.
"WHO IS BTS" video {is the beginning} 💥 "AN INTRODUCTION TO THE 7 MEMBERS OF BTS" video {is 2021 Updated} 💥 I enjoyed watching both videos 💥 #OT7Forever
"Rm is ugly, didn't he give up hip-hop to become an idol, can you even call him a rapper?"
RM's response: I'll prove it to you.
The rest is legend.
Don't worry.. After coming into the fandom, many people 's memory has become better!
Never clicked on a video so fast! Haha
I’m glad you decided to watch this. I used the same vid to get to know the members as well.
6 mins into the video and i gotta admit this is probably one of the best reactions to this intro video. I liked how you paid attention to the subs by pausing and reading them carefully. Honestly! I have seen many reactors not paying attention to the subs which got me "trustfrated". I mean why even watch an intro video when you aren't going to read the info about them. Anyway you nice keep going!👍💜
Wow. Thanks for really taking time to get to know the boys. 💜
big3 were the biggest entertainment companies in korea, BTS being an unprivileged group that debuted from a very small company was very surprising to many people. also wanted to add that all the members are songwriters, producers and composers.
this was a fun watch! hope you learned some more about the members!
Glad u watched this one. Best one in my opinion 👌🏾
Please PLEASE react to a golden closet film. Jungkook is so talented when it comes to things like this.
Its a long video and i really appreciate you to doing this 💜 army loves you.
Yes, they have had conflicts but they also work them out AS A GROUP, no matter who the conflict is between. They have learned to listen and respect each other. We can all thank Bang PD for that 🤗💜💜
First of all, since you read all that line by line. I appreciate you.
Got a new subscriber.
Not many are sincere wid these vidoes tbh but you know ur craft well and a sincere man at that.👌👌
I think you should react to an introduction to 7 members of bts (2021 update) by Ida s and the most beautiful life goes on a story of bts and I think this is the end of the introduction to bts💖
Thank you for reacting this 💜💜
the big 3 is the biggest entertainment companies in korea.
Some basic information which maybe of help;
BTS is the biggest male group known and from my understanding Blackpink is the biggest female group.
i actually love your videos sm
They have mainstream rap in Korea but just like in the US, there’s an underground scene as well for people like SoundCloud rappers and things like that where there’s showcases and competitions.
I think the more you watch their "casual content" (content not related to music videos), the more you'll be able to accurately name them because you'll start to recognize a) their facial expressions, b) the little habits they all have, c) their voices and much, much more (even their gait) that is difficult to just pick up from music videos. You'll notice it in their music videos once you know what it is, though.
