Passenger cars are ex Ns, they were part of the steam program. They are mccx 46/47 enroute to mass coastal/cape cod central. They will be used with cape cod central excursion trains
The passenger cars are awesome! 😊 Gotta like the DPU also. I'm surprised the train crew even picked up the tank car with the open hatch. That is illegal as can be. Big fines if you get caught!
I have, twice. Once in the mid 1970's, one (a heavyweight) was attached to the rear of an A & WP freight train. It was fully lit and seemed to be serving as a caboose. Until the mid 1980's, there was one attached to a freight train on the old Georgia Railroad between Atlanta and Augusta. The state charter gave the railroad a huge tax break for providing freight and passenger service.
That was so cool thanks for posting, miss train sounds, for a time as a kid I lived with my gram her house was 4 houses away from a massive rail system both C.P.R. And C.N.R. Also L&P.S. trains, I had to cross all those tracks to go to school. But I loved the sounds, she hated the coal dust on her washing on the line. I am 83 so you can imagine the difference in trains today, but still fascinating. Used to see Chesapeake and Ohio, trains with Chesse even though I lived in southern Ontario.
M368 is the "show of shows", but this video is even crazier...ex-Amtrak boxcar @2:25...tank car "flippin' its lid" @2:52..."tearin' the cover off" the plywood @3:32 (now we're talkin' speed, Jack)...a pair of (ex-N&W??) passenger cars @4:11...harkins' back to the days of Georgia Railroad mixed trains! Now, WWOT...you "trumped" JawTooth on this one >> how cool was that segment (starting @6:45) waiting at the grade crossing with the car radio playing?? That was beautiful..what a great "touch"!! I'd say -- by the "looks of things" -- L356 is challenging you to catch him...that little train is "motorin' Jack" with a capital "M"!! Love that horn fading-away into the distance. Awesome stuff, my friend... 👍👍👌👌👏👏
If you have a minute after this video please watch another one of my videos by clicking here and give it a Thumbs Up! Thanks! ruclips.net/user/WideWorldofTrains
Another great premiere from the master here! Loved that BNSF executive unit. The spongebob long hood forward always looks great. Should always be long hood forward lol. Nice to see that Norfolk Southern are WWOT fans now they running DPU alright! Thanks Mike from Wide World of Trains on RUclipsaah and I'll catch you tomorrow 👍 👍
Those are some old cars, Pullman cars I’d say! Nice job Wide World of trains! P.s. I got no school Monday Tuesday and Wednesday! And this I’ll have a field trip to Dave and busters on Friday
I think the coaches on the CSX freight were former CN. did you catch the moves of the gondola ahead of the coaches. you will be seeing more stack trains out of Montreal as Port Saint John gets the container terminal expansion up and running.the new cranes are up waiting. love DPU's but see few around here lately except CN 730 or 565
I really enjoy all the videos of the trains! I enjoy riding on trains, too. Especially the dinner train. The food is delicious to me! Awesome 😎 passenger cars are on this train with the freight cars!! Woah that was unexpected!

Love the horn on BNSF 5029. Sounds like it may be missing one of the lower notes.

Run on freights for transport when they are not up to current passenger car standards or there are no passenger routes available.
