Ive decided it takes 2 to clinch , ive seen some fighters that dont let it happen and let there hands go on the inside, alot of fighters dont have any inside game so there happy themselves to clinch up. You dont see people trying to clinch beterbiev or Crawford, they aint even trying to get that close to them
100% the great boxing trainers talk about the clinch hass to be accepted. never seen loma or usyk or canelo or beterbiev/ bivol getting clinched. even when carrot top tired he dont start constantly clinching. 0 inside skills these days, they LOVE the clinch bc it feels safe like their mothers womb
Thats why i never got all hyped up when everyone started "randomly" yapping about him a few months back.
I don’t see Matias as washed up. What I’ve seen prior is a high volume power puncher, something we didn’t see when he fought Paro. I certainly don’t see him as a big mouth or a shit talker like u say. Paros team executed a great game plan & carried it out to perfection. Yeh there was a lot of clinch by Paro, but that reduced Matias to unload power punch’s so u can say it was all tactic. A number of Matias floors can be correct & I see him coming back just as strong & he may not be avoided until after his next fight, then depending on how that goes, which I see it being a write off, regardless of who he fights, he will get the win unless his opponent boxes him & stays outside. Matias is a humble sort of bloke from what I see, & shouldn’t be written off just yet.
Dont like ignore the fact that Paro clinched his way to victory.

His punch output in all other fights by far surpassed what he threw here . And he was never even hurt. In fact Paro was the one in the hospital after with a busted eardrum 🤷🏾♂️

Matias is still the badest man on the planet. Imagine being a champion and having your mandatories turndown their opportunities. Paro can fight Matias in a rematch in Australia, he won't because Matias is still the bogeyman in the division.
