Always hire drivers with a high feedback potential. It will make setting up the car much easier. When it comes to race practice, always bring them back in as soon as they leave the pits. It maximizes the feedback. Only run the car for multi laps when it's time to quali
Upgrading weather center is great for slower pace teams, that’s where you can get ahead of the game on tire change strategies, steal some points that way.
I have a few tips. I’ll start with my first. Check the rules. I created a new team in the top GT championship and I survived relegation by pitting Claire Talley at Japan with 3 laps to go, put her on the red tyre, allowed her to cool her tyres, saved ers, and let her push on the last lap. Fastest lap got her 2 points and saved my season
One other tip I have is that when looking for a designer, try finding one that has a special part of Great and Epic tier. These parts are (Most of the time) free to use when building costing neither time nor money. You can use these to progress towards legendary parts faster.
Second driver: Franky Kinnley. Payed driver, good feedback, able to get first season immediately Edit: when you have votes, see if you can get spec engine. Save you a huge amount of money in the lower league
Franky is a very good tip. She's a must. And if you have spec engines in season 2 of the ERS, you can totally get promotion in season 2. And season 1 is a throwaway. If I get spec engines voted in for season 2, then I don't make any engine upgrades for season 1 at all. There's no point. That's millions wasted.
Future rules tip Some rules seem to even more crucial to back marker. However, it's actually a disaster to top teams against you Weight Strip In WMC, you can gain 15 performance at a cost of 5%p reliability. Some A. I. teams will have their cars causing problem, could bring luck to you. Less tire choices I think the A. I. teams don't know how to reuse old tires... Simultaneous Pit Stop( *in Endurance* ) It seems ridiculous, but you can save some seconds to refuel and repair. Try to set pit stop time at 30 seconds. A. I. Teams will push their luck too far.
thanks for this video! just started playing and it was helpful to spot check whether what i’m thinking makes sense. biggest unlock was the paid drivers. didn’t realize that was a thing!
A cheeky exploit is if you are in a championship with reverse grids, hire two new drivers at the end of the season or promote your test driver. This will have them near the front of the grid as the grid is determined by drivers points and not constructors.
When finding a designer, look for components. Because you can’t design past good parts without facilities, finding a designer with any great component and the random legendary part epic component will help your design. Laura Jackson would be a good bet
I would never touch engine in my first season, I would use my "buy a option for regulation" to choose spec engine, and have saved up votign power to make sure it goes trough. Making engines spec in Europa league saves you so much money you can prolly promote a year earlier then planned, then repeat exactly same thing in asia pasific, make engine spec, ALWAYS! Its the most expensive part.
Designer: Scott Moore (just cheating) first season all parts to 200-300 points Mechanic: Louisa Frisk, Robert Morris Driver: Scott Price, Joanne Coburn, Méline Pires, Leonzio Fara if legend: Sujitra Kunkorn: race cost: 24k! 1st bonus 42k. Stars: 2. 3,5max Marktabillity: 100%
This one is a game bug to exploit. If you design apart with no condition loss on the past race, improve its reliability before its first race and it will never loose reliability for the rest of the season
Kind of a bit off topic question. Do you use F1 22 manager mod? I was wondering if it works since I'm planning to buy this game and I actually prefer this over the real F1 manager game. I saw forums saying it doesn't work anymore since it's outdated..
I have not used that mod. I've used one in the past I think it was in 2020 sometime. I havent played this in a while so i'm not really clued up on recent mods. The base game is good enough for me anyway as im not a big fan of the F1 manger games either mate. I prefer this. I found the "real" games limited in scope.
i wish they make new one of these. frontier SAID they were, but omg its so bad. thankfully i got refund on 1st game, and never even bothered on 2nd and i can see from honest reviewers that race say both games still lack tyre strategy etc. so sad they make a really great looking game. but they fail at where the long term player base look for. wish they could put motorsport manager and frontier games together lol. looks and quality.
yea game allows u to progress at ur own speed. u can sit in the bottom tier and dominate as long as u want. or win 1 championship and move on to next series. its all up to you.

Good shout 👍
When looking for a mechanic, find one that has a slow tyre wear perk. Really helps at Russia and Phoenix

If you have a no.2 driver that dislikes team order, you can still manipulate by undercutting the no.1 driver (or over-cutting the no.2 driver).
aside from the long intro, this is really a good good quality video, Thumbs Up!!!
Cheers man yeah intro is abit long. This was the cut version of it aswell.

I noticed the ai hate low tyres as well brilliant tip that 👍 they just can’t seem to cope.
Thank you, those tips will really help me with my underdog challenge
Hope they do mate. Thanks for stopping by. Good luck with your career.
Andre Gomes saved my from getting sacked 😅 true legend!
Certainly is mate thanks for watching 👍

Glad you liked it! Thanks man
@@CozzaPerks I just started to play this game, so very helpful. I started my own GT team 😁👍

why cant i improve any of my parts? they're all blank under "improve performance" "improve reliability" 10:00
If they are blank it means the the part has been improved to the maximum performance of that particular part. You need to build a new one

Yo! I have a question, motorsport manager only works when i turn my wifi off, is there a fix for that, cuz i wanna play with mods!
I know a fix, respond if you’d still like to know
@@yundastan3358 i found a fix on steam discussions, it worked so no need!

That’s up to you. For me it would be. I liked the game. But it’s not for everyone.
