  • In this observational film, we meet Heavenly Anegbeh and Oreoluwa Shoyinka, two young women who are working life out, with ambitions and ideas ready to be fulfilled whilst tackling the usual self doubts that comes with the territory.
As Oreo braids Heavenly's hair on the steps of an old disused tenement in Central London, they discuss life. Neither had met each other before and it goes to show how humans can connect quickly.
Each were brought up in London and discuss school life and the politics of growing up. Oreo, a British Nigerian, talks about being the "tall skinny black girl" in class and how in Nigerian culture you respect your elders.
Heavenly, a British Caribbean / Nigerian, finds herself discussing love end emotions, having suffered with depression and anxiety for years. They discuss how life is different as children being brought up in London and the UK compared to their parents and grandparents who came from abroad to work. They are the results of their family's hard work and now have the opportunity to become what they choose to be, although it still isn't an easy journey.
Meet two young women who are at the start of adulthood, full of hopes and ideas for the future and full of energy and listen to an honest and candid portrayal of life at that age.
