      Love to see deep water from a boat, laker jigging. Obviously the lakes have to thaw first but I think jigging swim baits would be a cool show. Im in utah and im hoping some of the info would help me slay them up at flaming gorge

    These guys need to work with WFN to get onto that channel I just love this show. Its nice to see a show other than the Lindners' fishing in our area of the country. Seems like its all about the southern bass and crappies that make it on tv more often than not. But we have crazy good fisheries in the Midwest that seems untapped to the rest of the country.

    "In depth outdoors" you guys should try to come to Brighton Ontario for some ice fishing,there isn't that much ice on the bay yet but through out the week it is suppose to get really cold and there should be about (7" \10") inches of ice. hopefully!!

    • @InDepthOutdoorsTV

      Lamprey marks on Lake trout in Lake Superior are very common.

  • @MrFishguy79

    Fun show! How deep were the fish usually biting at?

    • @InDepthOutdoorsTV
      @InDepthOutdoorsTV  11 лет назад

      The guys were fishing in 65' - 72' of water with most fish hitting the baits at 30' down. Several fish chased baits up to right under the ice before hitting so fish can come anywhere in the water column.

  • @mnhmooblis
    @mnhmooblis 11 лет назад +1

    How thick is the ice?

    • @InDepthOutdoorsTV
      @InDepthOutdoorsTV  11 лет назад +3

      It "was" 12" - 18" on the day the show was filmed. Things change out there daily so be sure to call Marine General for the latest on ice conditions.

    How do people get on these shows? Isn't the Pro staff pretty big?

    • @InDepthOutdoorsTV
      @InDepthOutdoorsTV  11 лет назад

      No, the IDO Pro Staff is actually very small. Everyone that appears in the shows is either an employee of IDO or an active Pro Staff member on www.idofishing.com

    • @westonfishesthe605
      @westonfishesthe605 11 лет назад

      So if someone wanted to get a part of something like IDO or any other organization like it, how would they do that? I'm just super curious.

    • @InDepthOutdoorsTV
      @InDepthOutdoorsTV  11 лет назад

      Weston Bich In-Depth Outdoors is always on the look out for good communicators that also happen to be skilled anglers. The combination is actually quite rare and hard to find to be honest. So if you wanted to get your foot in the door with a company like IDO the best way to start is to show you can communicate effectively on idofishing.com. If you demonstrate the ability to communicate with other anglers through fishing reports, photos, article and short videos the powers that be at IDO will come looking for you. They're always on the look out for qualified pro staff members to add to their team.

    That spot where they are fishing is not always froze, easy spot to get to but you have to really know the conditions.

  • @idontwana9559

    So you can always Ice fish this area????

    • @bigswedefishing2028
      @bigswedefishing2028 9 лет назад

      idontwana Depends on the year. Most years not, and when there is ice the wind can send it down the lake. I've fished in places that had "safe" ice one day and open water the next.

    What is that burping sound coming out of those lake trout?

    • @urmomthemilf34
      @urmomthemilf34 11 лет назад +1

      Just the fish releasing air from there air bladder so they dont get the bends and can go back down healthy, usually happens when they come from deep water

    • @GeluNumber1
      @GeluNumber1 11 лет назад

      It is air being pushed out of the air-bladder. Trout, when brought up from the depths, can push out the air that builds up in their bladders, which results in a burping sound.
