They're doing great projectors but JVC for instance are certainly also very tough competition in this space. Laser *and* LCoS instead of 3LCD. I would also argue, by the way, that going with a 1.3 gain screen without any kind of ALR features is wrong now for almost any application, certainly for a living room one like this. Sure, springing for a really top of the line ALR setup from the likes of Screen Innovations will cost as much as the projector (well... perhaps not $30 grand, but for lesser projectors) but the technology is now very mature. Arguably, having a 180 degree viewing angle is a waste when you can focus the light more towards the actual seated position. 10000 lumens will certainly light up anything... but it could still benefit greatly from ALR.
@@we8463 Dude, it takes a full 4k picture just like a native 4k projector. Highly doubt even the best trained eyes could see the difference in a double blind test when watching movies.
seriously guys you are watching a youtube video the captation is made with a smartphone, in an almost daylight environnement. GO in a showroom to see it in real condition.
I really love the large size screen you can get with a projector, but no matter how good it is they just always look dull or faded.

The HALR screen in the video is an 80% ALR screen. Same as SI's black diamond (depending on the gain).
Cost??
Any chance that this will be as good as the new JVC ?
I don’t think so still fake 4K!
Which is the new JVC model?
not even close

Crappy demo. Epson, get real….
Sill looks washed out, despite cranking the projector and having a dark grey screen.
Yes, OLED giant TVs all the way...
