I've heard many live versions of this song, and the fact is that this one has poorer sound quality than most professional recordings. Even more importantly, I've heard them perform the song live in person, and it came across *very* well. So while I agree that some nuances of a complex song like this are likely to be lost in a live performance, I don't agree at all that it's a song they should exclude from live performances. They are a prog metal band who should be performing the songs their fans love, and "Vortex" definitely qualifies!
Some better live versions of this song available of RUclips:
Jinjer - Vortex [Live 2021] - live on an outdoor stage, but no audience (during COVID).
Jinjer | Audiotree From Nothing - live in more or less a studio setting.
Vortex (Live in Los Angeles) - live on an indoor stage with a crowd, but I haven't seen video footage.

I didn't see Jinjer at Wacken in August, 2023 and, from what I gather, none of the three of you were there either. None of us knows what Jinjer actually sounded like from the crowd. All we know is what the video sounds like. As hemlock states, the sound quality of the video is not the best. However, the sound of the video has nothing to do with how Jinjer actually sounded to the crowd. Even if the sound was actually bad at Wacken (which I doubt), how would Jinjer have known that when creating their setlist? Jinjer is a band of many talents, but clairvoyance is likely not one of them. I only noticed Tatiana touch her IEM twice and both were very brief. To me she was just making sure the fit was still good. The temperature at Wacken was probably in the high 20s C which would definitely have me sweating. As far as the crowd, they seemed to be very into the song. They certainly let out a roar at the end. I have seen a video of Jinjer's entire Wacken 2023 set and the crowd seems to love every second of it.
Even though I wasn't at Wacken, I saw Jinjer at a small beer garden type venue on a very hot July day in Texas. This was about two weeks prior to their Wacken performance. They played a 14 song set and, unsurprisingly, 6 of the 14 songs were from Wallflowers, including Vortex. Similarly, Jinjer played 12 songs at Wacken, and 5 were from Wallflowers. I was fortunate to be on the rail at the Texas show and it was the best concert I saw in 2023. Vortex was around the middle of the set and it was a highlight. The low growl Tatiana does at the end of the song actually caused a rumble I could feel in my gut. Vortex has been in their top 5 most played songs each year beginning with 2021, and that is exactly where the song belongs. They have just started their North American tour (I will see them in a couple of weeks in San Antonio, Texas). They have played 3 shows so far and guess which song has ended all three? Vortex. They know how to send their fans out happy.
