Jesus. What a cringey reaction/review. 😂 Anti-backing tracks, complaining about the diversity within the track and just a whole lot of elitism. Oof.
Wouldnt say we are elitist but for some reason during that filming session we found that all the songs we checked out sounded generic and there wasnt anything to really get us excited. We did actually discuss the fact at the end of the session that if a band does alot of generic things then we complain about it but if they also try lots of new things we complain that they are trying to hard. We even acknoledged that we were particularly hard on the bands a the end of the day of filming. That should help on some future videos. We do watch and review alot of music so it does take alot for bands to blow us away or make us take notice. If we were to review alot of the classic metal bands we would be equally challenging.
My thoughts exactly. No attention span to let a song build and to complain about a good solo thats not 15 seconds and done and over? Some real metal elitist complaining here
Pesan Di Lagu Ini Menyapaikan Bahwa Walaupun Mereka Ber Main Musik Keras Mereka Tetap Berpengang Teguh Pada Ajaran Keyakinan Mereka,Dengan Bermain Musik Menggunakan Hijab
Very good! When this came out I was 14 years old. And it was a "massacre". It was very heavy and at the same time phenomenal. I watched this clip on MTV. I couldn't conceive that something so heavy came from here in Brazil.
Oh, I love Blackbriar! If I may be so free to recommend some Blackbriar songs: - Deadly Nightshade - Lilith Be Gone - An Unwelcome Guest - Far Distant Land - We Make Mist - I'd Rather Burn - Cicada - Let Me In
All great songs. Witching hour is a good one for everyone as it's a rocking track
I second @Percy92! We have the same Blackbriar's favs 😊 Maybe I would have added "Deadly diminuendo". Edit: ...and "the Evergreen and Weeping Tree".
Please listen to Revamp Disdain live at Graspop 2010
This is the most mainstream song of AF last album. And it does'nt represent the 5 albums AF AT ALL. The band startet in 1996. Floor joined the band in 1997. Please listen to Equally destructive. It's s a banger with great riffs! And my favourite live recording is Dreamflight live at Progpower US 2007 ruclips.net/video/73-_F9prx4I/видео.htmlsi=tSWZVd2HkOGNqOHo It's Progmetal with growls. Revamp is really metal. It's worth listening. On their second album (harder than the first) Devin Tounsend did a collab.
I stilll have my Prong CDs !!! Snap your Fingers!!! ❤
This song was made with a help of the pop producer Gordon Groothede ( I hope I wrote his name properly) to be radio friendly hit, so it is very poppy (and their biggest hit). Still it is a great song... Video was an idea of Nuclear blast and as the song is about energy, maybe it was meant to be energy of soil, water fire and air.
Floor needs to let her inner Rock Chick part out as do many others. This is hardly a standard After Forever track and in some ways a cash in. The collaboration with Jørn Viggo Lofstad that eventually led to NorthWard after years started shortly after and you can see that Rock Chick in While Love Dies there also.
Hehe, so you like good videos? Try 'Noise' by Nightwish. ruclips.net/video/LczGSoibRe8/видео.html Greetings from Germany
Did they have an earlier song called 'everywhere is nowhere '?
Nowhere is everywhere, off the infotainment album. Was the album that marked their progression from industrial death metal style to the style that they became more well known for.
@@adkrockandmetal Thankyou, I'm pretty sure I had it on a sampler cassette from a magazine mid 90s. Great band.
Thanks guys! Just wanna add that the lyrics are in the video itself as subtitles :)
Thanks for the review guys! Appreciate you taking the time to check out our material. I've made a note to add more cascading neon-embroidery to our next record - what a great phrase. As a fellow United fan, let's hope Antony can prove the doubters wrong next season... 😅
Hi, Matt (Bass) of Far From Refuge here! The title and lyrics of Whitemane are based on a World of Warcraft Femme Fatale - Sally Whitemane. Joel is/was massively into the game. The aesthetics of the videos plus all of the filming and editing were me. The office wear and blood was the initial idea. The black and white with red was decided later on. Appreciate your praise and critiques. We wanted to include narrative elements to separate this from the Ghost of Eros single video. Jules (Drummer) came up with the video idea that fit well into the aesthetic I wanted to achieve. The video was a lot of fun yet extremely tiring to film and edit. The filming happened a week before its release on a very hot day and, because I was extremely busy, the editing had to happen across 18 hours in a single day which caused some extraordinary burn-out. Glad the final product has been received well despite the compressed schedule

What in the fuck is a whinger? Is that a made up word? Just sounds stupid. And grunge is just a media created term. People who say they love grunge don't even know Mad Season and people who say they hate grunge, well just sound like you bozos. Early Soundgarden is as classic Doom as Trouble you can fuck right the hell off if you try to argue that, that's just poser nonsense. And Dirt was as heavy and intense as any Mourful Congregation or Esoteric or whatever fad band of the moment.
Few things more amusing than watching older guys in black Ts with logos micro dissecting and over analyzing songs. And while one gentleman has made it plain he’s not impressed, the fact remains this band (any band really) has put their asses out there and are doing it while others are merely sitting around critiquing and jawing about it for clicks and ad revenue.
Just a heads up two of the hosts do also play in bands and slog away pushing the music and playing little venues etc so they are well aware of the struggles. The feedback we give is just three personal observations.
@@adkrockandmetal Fair enough. But it did come across as being pretty dismissive. Back in my band days, one of the first rules of professional courtesy was to never crab somebody else’s band if you were also in a band. If somebody else’s music wasn’t your thing you just let it go without comment. Times and attitudes must have changed since then.
There’s no doubt that Dany, Pau, and Ale are very attractive young women. BUT, the difference between them and many other all female groups, whether it’s rock, metal, pop, etc., is that the ladies in The Warning have the TALENT to back it up, and legitimately worked their asses off for over a decade to get to where they are today. They’re not your usual case of a record executive recruiting a few cute girls, teaching them a few simple power cords, then hiring an entire team to write their songs for them. They aren’t the female version of the Jonas Brothers. The Warning are the real deal.
Hey from New Mexico USA. Our state has many metalheads. Napalm Death has become my fav, amazing music and lyrics. I like vast array of protest music. MDC, DK, Minutemen, Crass, Clash, Poison Girls, Dils, Joan Baez, Pete Seeger, Nina Simone, Steve Earle, Alice Bag, Billy Bragg ✌️⚖️☮️💪🇵🇸📣
I'd pay these guys to come play a show personally for me here in Norway. Cold Steel fucking rips man!
None of you mentioned Abagail; the drummer...hmmmmm
The paper ripping sound at the beginning of the song is Ryan Clark ripping the pages of Anton Levay's Satanic bible. Y'all also need to check out Stigmata by Convictions. They are another Christian Metal band that are relatively new.
Oh, commercially successful bands sounds the same? What a frikking mystery that is.
How do they then make themselves stand out from the rest of the pack?
Dino Kazares?
Bahahahahahahahahahahaha😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks for your reviews, and taking the time to give the album a good few listens! Glad you found moments that you enjoyed! Much appreciated - James (Kodama) 🤘
I listen to sleep token and slayer tho
Blackbriar is one of my favourite bands! I saw them live last year at into the grave in The Netherlands and had the privilege of helping them backstage. They’re such sweet and caring people and i got a signed cd 💗
I’m happy to see this! Been listening to them a lot recently. I love Simon Says.
one of our favourite interviews on the channel
What's funny is that among the black metal scene, metalheads are still listening to them secretly, because of course they are!! The earlier albums are regarded as some of the best; when the nutless metalheads feel safe enough to finally disclose it🙄😂. We all know COF are in their own league both lyrically and vocally🖤 Hands down one of the most influential bands despite Nymphetamine Fix being one of the most lackluster singles I've heard from CoF.😮💨
Fukn love Fear Factory💪😎
FF is trash without bell.
He wrote this composition when he was only 15 years old.❤ He has 2 versions of Crow, with two different tones, the higher notes as well as beautiful as this one ❤❤❤.
The cameraman had only one fucking job and still failed. 🤦
They used a live drummer and so far I know he drums on the first 2 main records (not the spin off remix ones) it contains real drums with electro drums ontop
Fear factory needs bell back
About the New York and London accents in different parts of the song; Neneh Cherry’s is Swedish with a Sierra Leone born father, Ahmadu Jah, who came to Sweden to study engineering but instead became a musician. The famous jazzmusician Don Cherry is her stepfather, Eagle-eye Cherry is her brother and Mabel is her daughter. Lots of music in that family. Her sister Titiyo is also a singer. Anyway, she basically grew up in Sweden, but on and off they lived in New York, because of her stepfather. At 16 she moved to London on her own, pursuing a career in music. Having spent a lot of time in both New York and London she was familiar with both accents, and jumps a bit between them in this song for contrast.
Like the new format
Thanks, we are always trying new concepts to see what works and what doesnt, i think we are planning to keep this format although we will also be un muting our mics duing the songs for future videos so you can hear our discussion points as they come to us. For discussion topics we are going to revert to the casual sitting on the sofa chats as its less formal.
This was a great interview of a great band. A peak moment for ADK!
Fear Factory without C Bell is like Megadeth without Mustaine or image Type O Negative tried to continue without Steele
They played 'freedom or fire' on the obsolete tour in 1999. Then on the digimortal tour in London, they played it prior to Digimortal itself.
Pring isn't over looked lmao shit I seen them 7 times they were strong in the 90s. Always a very good band to see in a open arena they put one he'll of a show on
Bullet fucking rocks... Check out more shit
I’ve a lot of friends into metal but their guilty pleasures tend to be electronic music, Bronski Beat, Erasure, Patrick Cowley, Depeche Mode, Yazoo, many metal bands cover Small Town Boy, a song about a gay boy who has to leave his place of birth and find life anew, Can I ask if you have viewed Orville Peck live from Nashville singing Let Me Drown
It's time to bring back Well Cooked Jesus Dave....
Not even sure if we wrote an actual song lol
there is one thing that all X-Japan have in common - they are great live. make no mistake about it, Jiluka can back their shit up live too...
Penilaian yg objektif....mantap

Can’t compare GGFH to Marilyn Manson… they were groundbreaking in terms of the tech and programming while still appealing to a heavier audience. Obviously it’s an acquired taste and it pays to listen a few times like a classic movie…. The Disease album is absolutely amazing…. Eclipse the first album is also good but I think Disease was their finest work…..
They created this song themselves, both the lyrics and arrangement, from the expressions of their own hearts
