- Can as walking desk in my office help me be more productive while working from home with ADHD, plus get more steps in? In today's vlog we are doing a walking desk office makeover as my new walking pad is delivered, unboxed and tried out. I get an unexpected surprise of something really needed! Then my new sit to stand desk arrives and Daddy Of Four & I empty out my office and create my new sit to stand walking desk setup. Plus we recycle my old desk as a new desk setup in our daughter Zara's room. Will it all fit and work well? Keep watching to find out.

Daddy of four is hilarious! My husband is exactly the same I had him assemble my stand up desk he actually read the instructions for once!! My husband is impressed by daddy’s choice of tools, Makita please pass on his regards 🤣 I love my desk it was a great investment I want a treadmill now!

Me and a friend built my sit stand desk, she is very handy whereas I am useless. She can understand the diagrams even upside down.
Hi Rhi, I’m hoping I can ask you a question about your desk?! Love this video and you seem to love your desk so much that I am now looking into getting one however, when I read the reviews on Amazon for it, they aren’t great! A lot of them state that this desk is wobbly, especially when it is in standing position and that it isn’t worth spending the money on it. Have you found this or is it just a case that people don’t assemble them properly?! 🫣🤣 Would love to know your thoughts before I order one! 🥰
Mine is so sturdy that I have climbed on it to clean a window. Not I wouldn't recommend this and maybe won't chance it again, but it illustrates how sturdy it is. My husband put it together so I know it's "done properly" 😂

Men never want to follow instructions do they 😂 but then end up needing to further down the line 😂 you both did great with it all. Quick question though, can u run on the walking pad too or is it just for walking ? Xx
Mine goes up to 3.7 mph but you can get them that go faster so you could run. I'm not a runner 😂
@@MummyofFourUK I'm just tempted to get one myself but not for under a desk but a space saving similar flat type so able to store and use as I just haven't been getting enough steps in . I definitely couldn't run and work at a desk . I mean I don't actually run either ... yet 🤣 thx for replying so quickly, have a nice weekend. Loving ur content xx
Oh boy what is it with instructions? We're having a kitchen fitted at the moment (kitchen is in, just needs tiles done and washing machine/ tumble dryer put in, painting etc) and I had 3 sets of instructions to figure out last night; hob (the ceramic version of your one, my mother is a careworker and HATES the alarm thingies in induction hobs as you can't tell they're induction and she inevitably sets them off by setting a cup on them) oven (probably similar to yours) and an american fridge freezer (for anybody looking for a black american fridge freezer that has 2 doors and no water dispenser, good luck. They don't really exist. We ended up with black steel and thankfully its not near the oven or else it would look a bit weird.) and they may as well have been written in Gnomish for all I understood them. Beyond basic functions (oven clock, turn on, set temp etc) I've no clue. Even our builders were stumped when it came to making sure they were all working.
You mentioned a few 'dings' in your old desk, Ikea sell white paint that suppposedly matches their white furniture (I think B&Q Good Home also do a shade that matches) which could be used for any touch ups (or alternatively sticky vinyl) and you could get one of those clear vinyl table coverings you have on the dining table to protect the desks from farther 'dings' that may be generated. I think there's a website that makes drawer front stickers for alex drawers too which Zara may enjoy.
